VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Goblin Lord! [v0.9.1] [KainHauld]

First of all a moment of silence for the sad state of the game, it is a game that has a lot of potential,no it has already proven itself all of its mechanics its gameplay and its story is so flawless but the tag its in (Abandoned) aches my heart I just got curious because its not been receiving updates lately but then I found out its like this I lost all my energy seeing its abandoned its sad but I can understand the devs. situations. One of the best and could be the best game if it is continued. Love you "Goblin Lord" I'll miss you.

Nice Game! The magnificent plot that goblin become the main character not the human, but the plot still make me interesting, can't wait for the new update, hope this game can cleared, I'll wait for the update mate

This is a good game if you're into goblin sex fetish. The story is good and well written. The gameplay is not too grindy. If you pay attention to the dialogs, you should be able to figure out what to do next.
However the CG are too unpolished for me and there were too many ugly NPC. I gave up after about 2 hours of play.

Overall a nice idea and story. Worth to look at it later again.
I really like that the pregnancy tag also incl. pregnant women sex instead of just be impregnating. Only sad is that the MC is not involved.
I would have expected to that there are more baby growing in the belly instead of just one.

But my main issues with the game are
- the money which the archmage earns daily is ridiculous low.
- to much clicking needed to get anywhere. For example I do not need to get greetings again and again if I enter a location. Or instead of the palace, offer in the main town menu to enter the archmage dungeon or the white garden. Instead of text maybe clicking on locactions instead. Or all the clicks just to start a public service. Same issue in the goblin fort... And more...
- the lewd events are overpromised in the changelog, I mean where are all those scenes?
- the sex scenes are not very interesting, yet. I hope they will get better.
- it would be much better if one character story get completed, instead of having several incomplete stories.
- those donating events are the worst so far. An Archmage earning 7-9 Gold a day suddenly spends thousands of gold? And just for a stupid dance or lecture is not even the main reason why it is so ridiculous.

I fear this story will get more and more less plausible over time. Public Services with well-known characters cannot be done very long in secret. The Money system is already broken and there is not even much to buy.

Concept is what I wanted.
Execution feels...dated.

It plays out where if you choose the wrong options its auto game over. Ya no that isn't a game, that is a rigid narrative you get to click a button to progress. Which ya this is a VN. But the auto lose shit is annoying.

I wish we really did have a reverse goblin slayer game that had battle/management to it, would be cool. Alas, we do not.

If you enjoy the sight of a dozen little ugly bastards banging prude bitches then this game is for you.
Also very nice that they capitalize on you being a goblin in disguise and in conversations goblins are insulted, revenge makes enslaving feel good.

a few bugs here and there but they are not truly game breaking and dev has put a warning in-game
overall story is what you would expect out of a goblin game (though I was surprisingly invested in its lore than other goblin stories)....
one of those few games which provides what is in its tags really with the pregnancy system already in place...which is a huge dub in my book

Below are more of my suggestions than hating or cons of the game
-there is an inconsistency imo that the protag is supposed to be transformed to be the most intelligent goblin yet all the thinking shit is done by the shaman (a normal goblin)
-so putting the objective (or what to do) to the shaman doesn't fit since protag should be more intelligent than him -->sooo a to-do menu showing the objectives might be better)
- wish that the goblin grew a bit more to maybe his human form as the current one looks too small and knowing how the upcoming arcs are relating to a tough knight girl, having more bigger body imo would help make the strength disparity less and in a way showcase his mastery with magic as well as to show he grew more powerful and less dependent on his staff (which should have already started since we are talking about a future goblin 'lord' who is trying to rule the world and he still can't defeat shit without his staff)...also the sex scenes would feel better(atleast for me)...
- wish there were animated scenes too but the content so far is appealing to me to ignore it for now<--- hope he does start doing them in the future tho..the change in the mc's body proportions would also mean the chance for new sex scenes with the enslaved girls and more chance to experiment with animations)

A properly tagged pregnancy game!
I like where this game is heading but for everything else I have to agree with the other reviewers.
The text is bland, the renders are pale to what we're used to.
At least they don't suffer from the DAZ grain but they shouldn't as they're done in HS with it's inherited flaws.
There isn't much to do either.

I would've rated it higher but 3/5 is fair for now I think.

pleasant games, need a few more dungeon crawler dimension, and goblin's clan managment/slaves utilities and more storie's chapters.
need also more map's destinations, cities, dungeons, ruins, shrines, etc.. Medieval fantasy univers is very richs, have possibilities to do a really great title of the game!

The core appeal of this game (an amusingly put upon villian protagonist and CG art porn) is solid to great. There's a good guide available to get you through to the story events without too much grind or point and clicking looking for the next step. There are some moments where you can die from one bad decision, so you'd better save scum before battles, but there's often hints available if you're paying attention and there's rarely more than a couple of choices anyway. You can get through almost anything by reloading a couple of times if you die.

As a H-Game surrounding monster-on-human slavery and breeding this is a complete success. As long as you're into the content you should have a good time, so look at the tags an have a play if you approve.

Great game especially if you love Humiliation/monster rape etc.
True score around 4.2 but I am rounding up because I love those tags and its not easy to find good content lately with all the "girlfriend simulators" around. Score would go up to a resounding 5 if the game was finished, need more girls please!!!
Give it a try if you like the tags you wont be disappointed.

In my opinion this here is a very intriguing and engrossing game to be.

Still now I think this is the first game with .

The story line is also very well made and thought out.

The fights mechanics are also pretty good as they are not just singularly sequenced but randomized.

The game is also driven by a in-game guide to walk you through specific tasks and not just lets you wonder aimlessly for a sandbox game.

I'll also implore the Dev to introduce some random girls to be encountered on say hunts for breeding.

inventory system is also pretty neat and for such a new game, I didn't hit any errors. Nice work with testing I suppose.

You may also include a heat system increasing potential threat when going on hunts.

I really see an immense load of potential for this game.

Great Game overall.

P.S. Only two pitfalls is the honey dew graphix which I dislike due to non-originality and the lack of animation which would definitely take this game to a new level. THIS IS THE ONLY REASON FOR 4/5 STARS.

Excellent story and action-based choices; its limited in what you can do but feels RPG-esque moreso than most other games.
Game needs a lot more content for it to really be great, but so far it is nice playing the goblin as the protagonist rather than the normal human.

Needs a walkthrough or choices that aren't so 50/50 for game ending death (and no real hints what is right). It's not challenging so much as tedious.
That said, some of the CG's are attractive and it's a fun concept.
I won't call it bad and it has potential but it's unrefined and not the most enjoyable to play yet.
3 and maybe it'll get better down the road.

1.rendering: goblin look like shit with no joke intention most work is on the girls so other things are been left behind in cloud character hairs some cloth of characters and walls or other
2. the first part of the story is experiment so here is my opinion
1. kidnapping should be more realistic like you did fight with them with your group and only you survived and ...
and other just make it more story like its more like reading an event in 3th person story
and the story itself in not bad at all (monster protagonist should be a tag )
but dialog are so messy in one scene is like the kidnapped me and in another is like what will you do . i don't get it is the story is first person is or not
and dialog when someone is not talking is sooooooo simple and amator
and the dialog bar is like normal rpg game try to make somthing for it

A lot of potential.

I find the story a nice change of pace from a lot of the overused cliches in games now a days. While the ideal of a goblin protag isn't my bag, I still liked my time with the game.

The renders are nice, not out of this world, but good. Unfortunately a few, like the main character in both his forms, feels really lacking. Especially compared to the quality of the female renders. It really feels like the goblins as a whole are just low quality, low res, and lacking quite a bit. Which is a shame considering the subject and story.

The v 0.03 has a taste of content to come, but unfortunately there really isn't enough to dig into. Still I'll check this one out again in the future and hopefully it improves on what is already a promising start.
