I know there has been a little hostility and high tensions in these chats. I just want to say on my behalf. That I appreciate everyone keeping this thread alive not for the creator. But I appreciate those that allow us to continue playing the game without us paying for monthly subscriptions and getting the bare minimum in return. Smurf. And yet, it was Enyo, not Thetis. Just 10 seconds into the fight it was evident that the changelog was about her. She now has a couple of cinematics (which are super generic) , she has a few new buffs/debuffs (which are just cheap increases/decreases on offensive stats) , her buff is now fire-based instead of lightning-based (to differentiate her from Thetis) , you can press Space at the right timing to block most of her regular attacks (Clair Obscur more than prepared me for this
) and she actually speaks now and most of the moves have actual sound effects (FINALLY, that does elevate this fight significantly!!).So, as Yourseatcushion said, major thanks for helping keep this thread alive and allowing us to play the game without supporting this horrible creator
EDIT : Apparently the blocking only stops a debuff from being placed on you but doesn't change the actual damage you receive. More importantly, they made a very very bad change, as now you can apparently last as few as two moves beneath her facesitting before losing, which I'm pretty sure is the exact opposite of what people had been asking for.

someone else is probably better suited to answer, but... it's pretty much the same game in a newer cloak.
Graphics look a little better, but there's a lot less content atm (only 2 Goddesses with a third one coming "maybe" in 2 patches I believe).
Gotta take everything with an extra-extra grain of salt ... If what Mardion said is true, they don't know their own game very well mixing up the names of the only 2 Goddesses. Perhaps someone other than the actual dev is posting the updates on patreon, Idk. Just to prove that I'm not mad, adding the preliminary and actual patch notes of 0.2.6.
There'll also be 4 classes to choose from in 0.2.7... read: more filler-content with less what people actually want.
There's an additional face-stomping animation planned, but it all sounds pretty recycled from the first game.
I think I'm noping out till there's at least version 0.3+ x_x

That has been my theory for a long while now. That there's a "new game dev" who is developing GoT2 (and he's doing a good job imo) , and that there's the classic "patreon dev" who is the biggest scum alive.
Whether I'm right or wrong on this, it's still super true that you should take anything written in their Patreon with a huge grain of salt. Especially as whoever writes these tries to make everything sound sensationalist even if in reality it's super-boring ("Thetis Domonation Buff crushes your will" ... it's just a damage debuff signified by a simple icon).
Thankfully, the mentions of new animations have been accurate so far, so I'll be looking forward to the extra facestomp animation ; Enya's current ones are already fire!
So, 0.2.6 refuses to load the character creator screen when I select the goddess tab (This is on my newer and faster pc). The game just crashes, which is weird considering that my slower and older pc can load it but is super slow.

Not subbed currently - sitting some of the patches out till it's hopefully worth it again.
Idk if anything has changed since my post a little further up, but yeah...
I expect the dev will keep drip-feeding their subscribers as little content as possible in order to extend development time and maximize profits.
Don't think that will change unless the subbers voice their discontent.
