Seeking Good games made with female audiences in mind?

Hey all.

I've been looking for games on this site made with female specific audiences in mind and am not having much luck so far. Although it doesn't particularly bother me playing games made for male audiences, it does drastically cut down on the number of games that are acceptable for me to play, and lately it has become a chore to sift through and identify things that I would enjoy playing - the lag of tag to identify what I'm looking for can be particularly troublesome.

P.S - There are a lot of good games on this site with female protagonists, but I wouldn't class those as being aimed towards female audiences. I still feel the majority of those are made for men, so please don't just suggest things solely because they have a female protagonist. Thank you. :p

I think something like Alansya Chronicles is the closest thing I've played on here to satisfy what I'm looking for if that helps anyone!

Hello !
I'm a female developer and I try to make my game "Lolita gone wild" appeal to both women and men.
Based on the feedback I've had, I think it's working pretty well.
But everyone has their own fantasies, so I can't be sure you'll like it.

The game is based on the discovery of sex and exhibition (with a little bit of blackmail at the beginning, but very little).
Most of the scenes are heterosexual, but there will be some lesbian later (for the moment only one scene).

For the moment, the game is in early devellopement (only 3rd release), but there's enough to play (82 CGs available).

Hope you'll like it

Possibly a dumb question, but what actually counts as "games with female audiences in mind?" Like, are there any usual features or traits? Because I think I'm failing into the "female MC != female audience" trap with most of what I might suggest, and I'm not exactly qualified to just blag it (even if I do self-insert as the MC). Judging by the Alansya suggestion, I'm guessing that a focus on a more down-to-earth story and sex scenes that are related to and integrated in that might be one trait? Possibly scenes that describe more about what the MC is thinking and feeling, rather than the usual brief descriptions/talks and CG?

I'm interested on knowing what you call "female audience oriented", since I personally like the rape content. lmao

Yeah, that's very little info. People can have very different tastes (on the opposite side of the specter), so you should either give more examples of what games you liked and what aspects of, or clarify what you absolutely hate.

I think the slower games that focus more on characters and emotions are likely to attract female players more than the pure 'fap' games.

I'd have a long hard look at DeLuca family, for example; you'd probably enjoy that, despite it featuring a male MC.
Similarly Heavy 5 has real character and story development, the option for a female MC, and a female dev.
What a Legend's less female focused in story-telling, but it's a cute and friendly game made by a husband/wife team. Likely you'd enjoy it.
Love of Magic's often been called the best gateway drug for getting your wife or girlfriend to play porn games; again it's less of a story written *for* a female audience (there's a male MC, and lots of cute girls), but one that I've been told appeal to female players because of the romance, the story and the character development.

*can confirm that*

Enjoyed it a lot.

As to H5, as Droid says, you can play as a fem MC and play her how you want to. So if you want to go all Kara Thrace out there you in space you totally can :) I know I have a pool of female players who -really- like the game if that means anything.

I don't think there's really a commonality between all of us in terms of what we're looking for in a game.

If I go to a sex site, I'm rarely interested in what's in the "for women" category.

If I'm looking for a romantic story, I don't look for it on a sex game. There are plenty of books and movies out there that are much better (although some games are well written).
Many of us are not English speaking, it's hard to focus on a story that is in another language while letting the excitement build.

I think we have more in common in what we don't want.
I think I'm not wrong in saying that most women don't like these games with oversized, inhuman breasts.
That in a straight scene we need men's bodies to be visible (I hate games where they're just transparent ghosts).
That a lesbian scene be filled with softness and not just flesh.

I mainly play games with a "female protagonist" because it's easier for me to identify with her, but I liked some "male protagonist" games yet.
