I used ESRGAN to AI upscale the images. As far as I know, it's one of the best algorithms right now.

Yes, it looks impressive. The algorithm handles it very well.

Unfortunately there are problems when layering objects (faces,boobs etc.):

Probably the troubles come from the wrong scaling of the alpha channel. But how to fix it? Maybe changing some AI parameters especially related to cutting off in half-shadows (for overlays only) .

Another minor complication is a broken options menu:
