Good non-incest relation replacements for incest games

A little back story. I really like Siren's games, mainly house chores and zombie retreat, but I'm not really into incest and I find the default replacements for character relations are awkward and don't really work in the scenarios/dialogue , so I've been trying to come up with some better replacements. I haven't really came up with anything good and thought I'd see if anyone on here had any good ones.

Just to be clear, I know this is a long shot. The games were written for incest so most replacements are going to not work very well but I thought I'd ask anyway.

i wouldn't be able to forget the relation choice was there at the start so i recommend going for the silliest option (then you can still enjoy the story knowing the awkward parts are on you). make it wordy, make it rhyme, make it brighten your day if you accidentally create punny dialogue with it. kind of like doing things devs didn't expect you to do being extra satisfying in other types of games.

Can't speak to those games since I haven't played them, but best you can replace Mom and sisters with are your childhood friend and your mom's best friend. You can then do headcanon that your mom is dead and her dying wish was her best friend take care of you. That at least explains the taboo of the mother character trying not to touch your dick since doing so would be sacrilege on your mother's wishes. The sister/childhood friend would be taboo because if relationship doesn't work out, it'd ruin a lifelong friendship.

It's anyway the only alternative that could works with the story. They are the only ones who, due to their family-like relation with the MC, can be reluctant to engage in a sexual relationship with him/her, while in the same time having a realistic close relationship with him.
All the others have either no reasons to be reluctant (outside of their actual desire to pursue such relationship) or to act so close to him/her.

In the end, all this lead back to the original responsibility of the creator, who shouldn't be lazy imagination deprived, and should have built his game in such way that the story is believable whatever if it's an incest relationship or not; what need to goes further than a ridiculous "who is she for the MC", and need that for the relevant dialog lines, and story parts, to be wrote twice, once for each context.

It's unfortunate for you tbh, cause most games in that setting are fully incest or are implied incest (landlady bs).
It's literally more easy to get into incest than getting incest out of porn.

Don't try to force it tbh, because if a story is based on incest in the core with a mask of best friend, neighbour or landlady bs, it will just make the story odd, and in your heart you know it's incest.
just try to avoid these types of games if you dont wanna spiral down the incest pit of hell, No matter how much I personally enjoy incest, it's not the most recommended thing
