Makes me wonder if there is a game around here somewhere where the MC gets buried under a mountain of garbage, wouldn't be surprised there are some unique interests out there. Then its just a case of a simple mod to add in some AI CG to the garbage pile and all those really into this new 'AI Everywhere its burying me' kink can indulge themselves to their hearts content.

What is surprising to me is how long the boring ragebait regarding AI is lasting, I'd have never guessed it'd have lasted till almost half way through 2025.

You'd think being an adult on the internet, you'd eventually realize that AI is just a (somewhat) accessible tool, and as such it can be misused - Almost as if there are no "endless" soulless and bland rpgm games using default rtp, or renpy games with KK screenshots spread all over (with a couple being mine ).

Its sadly a huge part of the world we live in - people are upset with the AI 'borrowing' artists work, which is a fair complaint. Their solution - lash out at something they can touch because its somewhat connected

Like I said in the other forum, banning AI CG off F95 is as effective as trying to cut a tree down by raking up the fallen leaves, but people will scream for it to make themselves feel like they are 'doing something about AI'

True, there's no denying that ethical aspect of AI. However, a good part of the things we study today or technology we use today comes from an unethical background, that doesn't make it any less right, but imagine the chaos if you actively hated each and every thing.

That's a good example, but yeah, I think most of the hate/confusion comes from calling them "AI artists" or suggest in any way that AI is going to kill and replace artists, which couldn't be further from the truth.
Were "AI artists" called anything else, it'd solve most of the misunderstandings, I believe.

At the very least you'd need to at least try AI yourself to realize that AI will never be able to replace artists, and I'm not talking just about the technical mistakes that might be gone someday, but things that AI can't and never will be able to do.
So, at best, it can only devalue artists, which is not a bad thing. Some of them are abusive and overpriced.

My opinion it would only mitigate it somewhat. A tiny bit. But matter of fact is, the word 'artist' is short. Convenient to use. If anyone in their right mind think people will just use "Content generator" instead of a much shorter, long since established expression of 'artist' they are dead wrong.
