I really enjoyed, it was a lot more wholesome than I expected, if you want a good horror mystery game and don´t mind gore then I would recommend it, there is a gore filter but I would recommend turning it off.
The music is also very good.
The sex scenes were okay, they were either horror or just wholesome, so I wouldn´t recommend playing it if you want erotic scenes only.
Now I will talk about the story and characters so I will spoil things so don´t read on if you haven´t played it.
The story was paced pretty good, I liked the mystery and the reveals, some things could have been explained more, like the ritual and the stone but there is enough context to understand enough about it all.
The characters were mostly good and I was surprised that almost all had some kind of sympathy even gore wasn´t that evil, which I didn´t expect because you know he eats and rapes and tortures people.
Kyoji was a okay protagonist, I liked that his fondness of monsters played a role in the story.
Akane was meh, she was pretty unlikeable at times and made some stupid decisions which made the shadashima rape scene kind of worse because I just thought "yeah maybe you should have listened to you friends who got attacked before your eyes because of sadashima." I didn´t hate her and still had fun with her character but it could have been better.
Aoi was good, I liked her personality and story could very much put myself in her shoes, her hate or dislike about Akane was very understadable and didn´t make her unlikeable.
Kiika felt like a side character, her story was kinda weird, like her thing is that she is kinda more horny and she has an strict awful mother, it just wasn´t engaging.
Yumiko, was just very likeable, her backstory with Yukari was interesting and her whole route was very good.
Shinta at first I thought he would be the standart annoying pervert best friend, but he was luckily much more likeable, he still had some pervert moments but they felt more realistic and most importantly he felt like a friend, the moment where he gave Kyoji a monster keyring because he knew Kyoji liked monster stuff was very cute.
Yoshiki, poor man died way too many times, I liked him and his relationship with Kyoji was good.
Shadashima, he could have been better but still was a good school bully, I loved his design and voice making him tall was way better then just the stereotype tanned with piercings.
The three weirdos, were awful they should have been cut, they are just filler and offensive comedy, like homour is objectiv but it was just "look one is fat and ugly but has a really high voice, look one is extremly skinny and ugly and talk like a hag, look one looks decent but talk weird and is annoying" Andou is another character who wasn´t needed but atleast he had one death scenes the three weirdos don´t even have that.
Yukari was very cute and funny, and her story was just tragic, the stone freezing time of the moment it good absorbed it extremly terrifying not only the age but the feelings and things you felt. Like as someone who has a extreme fear of bugs getting on my skin it´s terrifying imagining you would feel that endlessly.
Gore screaming show, was a good villain, his design and metallig voice were good.
