EP stands for "E-Points" (since whole premise of these games is to collect "EP" to progess) so I'd assume GP is for G-Points.

This is the newest game released by Fuyou, the old game you're referring to is "EP Girl", which is one of the earlier games he made. This one is very similar to it as well, but the quality is higher.
