Bad as a porn, coz small amount of scenes + u must grind for them, corruption doesn't change character behaviour.
Gameplay is bad, a lot of grind and battles, zero complexity in battle system.
Story is trivial as hell.
Performance is lacking, no settings menu.

What a fantastic gem of a game. It's a very strong entry point to one of the greatest H-game series on the market.

The plot is coherent and easy to follow while still remaining interesting enough to keep you wanting to find out what happens next. The worldbuilding is well done too, with various locations giving you tidbits about the history of the world and how it affects the plot.

The gameplay loop is simple but rewarding. There are three main stats: Fame, Charm, and Lust. By raising these stats you'll gain access to better gear, quests, and H-scenes. The game admitedly has a slow start but it does ramp up over time. I prefer this kind of slow progression because it makes sense from a story perspective and the resulting pay off when getting to a new scene is much more rewarding.

Iria is an amazing protagonist. She's cute and sexy at the same time, while her cheerful yet somewhat naive attitude makes you want to support and lewd her. That doesn't mean she's dumb, just that she's inexperienced. So she won't be selling her body the moment she steps foot in town, which is great. This makes for a system where her corruption is gradual and way more enjoyable.

There's a decent amount of H-scenes and with a matching variety too. The top tier art and context behind the scenes all combine for a wonderful experience. Every H-scene occurs in the city, so that means no game over scenes or battle fucks. It's intentional and lets the focus be on Iria's interactions with the various citizens of Trielebe. Some scenes are infinitely repeatable while unfortunately, some do have an ending and can only be replayed in the recollection room. Personally, I feel like there was some missed potential in what could've been offered. For example, an outdoors scene, public sex at night, getting messed with while sleeping at the park, nothing at all with the maid outfit, perhaps an optional x-ray toggle, etc. There definitely should've been unique dialogue about deflowering Iria. I also didn't care much for the hypnosis series of events.

The game is a bit dated and in shows in some quality of life issues. There's no in game options menu so you can't adjust the volume to a specific setting, it's either completely on or off. You can't load a previous save from within the game, you have to go back to the main menu then pick a save. There also isn't a costume change mechanic by virtue of the setting.

Overall, Gran Ende I has a ton of things going for it and very little holding it back. Gameplay's great, art's wonderful, scenes are very erotic, you can't go wrong with playing this. It's honestly bewildering how this hasn't been officially translated already. The dev has only improved by leaps and bounds since then so go check out the sequels if you enjoyed this game.

good game, normal plot. good for people want below average grind, H scene can be obtain easily although it is rather lengthy scene.

Not a bad game at all but it's too grindy with not a lot of content to justify it.

Apart from the grind, I'd say that my biggest problem with the is the plot and not because of its simplicity but because to be honest, it didn't make sense in the slightest. For example, the antagonists' motivations didn't make any kind of sense, specially Naju's, yes we got an explanation directly from her but it was ridiculous...

In resume it is short, grindy, has good cgs and the plot could have gone in another direction with a proper ending that doesn't feel dumb AF.

Quite lewd and fun, I find the balance between normal RPG and H scene quite good ( Grinding doesn't bother me so I might have a flawed view).
Sadly no scenes with the 2 other girls that have a face.
The Optional boss doesn't require too much farm either, just enough hp and the good combination of items and it goes on its own.
The corruptions were good too, except that she seems a virgin every time she meets someone even though she already sucked several men lol.

And no special scene after the end if we unlock all the scene, as if she wasn't corrupted at all, but that's just details.

While short(it took me about 4h to finish the game) it was fun to play, simple but caused "one more turn" flashbacks. The story was clear, fights difficulty fun, H scenes completely skippable(however strange can it sound on this site, they are just missable addition to the game, no the core) and quite a lot of freedom in the "tunneled" RPG like that. 10/10

I liked the game ok, but obviously not as much as these other reviewers. As an RPG, it was one of the more well done games available on this site. My main issue is that not only is sex a very minor element in the game the MC actually gets punished stat-wise for pursuing sex. I'd have given the game a much higher rating except for that aspect. The characters are well done, there is a sufficiently enjoyable plot, and the fighting is fun. There is just really no point in having the MC have sex. The important Fame stat takes a substantial hit whenever you do.

conclussion: in general, this is a really good game, it just need some fixes there and there but thats it.
maybe more characters to see , even when there is already a lot with the main one.

Undeniably one of the greatest games on dlsite.

The story is nuanced and exciting. Plenty of plot twists and moments where the plot thickens. Sensitive readers are sure to shed a tear, this is triple A quality writing.

Sex scenes are varied and drawn wonderfully. There were some moments I wished had sex scenes (like maybe a public sex moment?) but even though its vanilla, its done incredibly well.

Gameplay is very engaging. Status effects, TP vs MP, its got everything you'd expect from a five star game. Plus you have a bounty system for defeating monsters! I love it!

Hey! First of all, don't let the sub 70mb game size dictate your decision on whether or not to try this out. There are plenty of content in here, it's just that they are a bit more sparse and in between.

With that out of the way, it's a great game. The overarching main plot is better than your average HRPGs and at times quite interesting. MC is likeable albeit at times makes questionable decisions IF you make her do it.

The events/scenes are pretty good but we've seen better. As previously mentioned, although the game is barely 70mb, there are quite a bit of scenes to go through, however they lack variations to them. A thing to note is that I've found events that are not accessible in the recollection room, so if you've heard some say there are only a handful of scenes, they've probably just loaded a complete save.

There are neither battle fucks nor GORs whatsoever so that's a bit disappointing but at least the combat isn't always straightforward and gives you a bit of room to tinker with.

Overall I'd say it's a good package if you have a bit of time to burn and sink into the game like a standard JRPG. Although the pacing is at times a little off, it's not detrimental. Just don't start this if you're just looking for a quick fap before bed.

Great game. Admittedly, it is a bit grindy to progress from scene to scene, and you'll spend a lot of time doing the RPG stuff in this game, but if you don't mind that then this game is definitely for you.

I suppose if you wanted to skip the grind you could use a save editor to manually set your Fame/Charm/Lust stats to max and just walk from scene to scene to view them back to back, but personally I like the slower progression. It's kind of refreshing playing an RPGM game where the protagonist isn't banging the first guy she meets before they've even introduced themselves.

It's definitely a slower progression, but the build up is better that way in my opinion. Makes the scenes that much hotter.

If you want to see full penetrative sex scenes within the first five minutes, this game isn't for you. If you want an H-game with decent RPG mechanics and a slow heroine corruption system for a sexy yet somewhat naive protagonist, you're gonna enjoy this one.

Summary: The art is great, the scenes are hot, and the RPG mechanics are actually pretty decent. Worth playing if you enjoyed games like Arms Devicer or pretty much anything Clymenia has made, as this game feels similar to both.

The only thing missing is a clothes changing or cosplay system. If it had that I'd say this game would be perfect. Still rating it 5/5 though!
