As v0.69 is clearly marked as "Part 5", using the patch for "Part 4" is quite unlikely to be correct.

Well... THAT'S your Problem then. GO save at the Spot where it says to SAVE NOW.

And Sorry if this seems too aggressive but we are already on Part 5 that means one has to do this 3 times already to get this far. I would like to think People can learn from doing it 3 times already.

Yeah, but it's still not very good practice.
As you know, using mods for older versions often either doesn't work, or throws up issues.
We've seen it multiple times, across multiple games.

True but nothing have changed so far from part 4 so it's all good (I'm using it for 0.70 right now!).

I did. But had to wipe my PC so I lost my old saves and I'm not going to download the previous 4 separate versions of this game and play through each of them.

You know you can hold Ctrl & just skip through content you've already seen? It should stop when you need to make choices.
Should be able to catch up pretty quickly.
Or, if downloading previous versions is too much for you, you can use thread search and look for save files yourself. Might be worth including version number in your query.

It's just about following simple instructions.
When the game says "SAVE NOW", save.
