For instance, Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy don't realize they're in love until the end of the story. I guess another implied goal is to reunite with Tanya, his college girlfriend.

Yea, we're supposed to have magic super sperm; so even if the woman we cum inside has fertility issues we'd still get her pregnant. If I recall correctly, we also bypass hormonal birth control, I know for sure we were told the only way for us to be sure not to get girls pregnant is a vasectomy
