Bro, you have to remember the girls in this all have their own kinks, things they actually want and like. Your job as the MC is to keep them all happy. If you disregard certain things, you're preventing them from being themselves. I could name all of their kinks here, but I won't. But if the choice of something comes up a few times, you know that's who they are and want. There are somethings I do not like, but when I QC I take all the paths in order to test for MB. So, while I may not like whatever it is, the girls do. Yes, you could argue that these kinks are Moon's because he writes it that way and that would be true. But I'm sure you've noticed that each girl is different. They're not all into the same stuff. Each girl has a different personality. Anyway, just my 2cents.

The thing is... I don't have to live in the heads of fictional characters, I HAVE to live in my own head. With my own memory. And, doing things I absolutely HATE because someone else likes it, is NOT my idea of a good time.

I have no problems with the option being there for those of you who don't mind it, or even like it. I do have a problem with choosing the option that SHOULD made it disappear, and still be forced to do it.

After the Bark choice, where I choose the ... option, 3 or 4 lines later, she starts acting like a dog, we go to the MC's room, she gets collared, gets ears, leashed and tailed with a butt plug. I don't want to see any of it.

Apparently everyone in QC chose the same option. And ONLY that option.

As a tester, we have to check every choice and the petplay option is part of the option on buying the catsuit and for making Shizi bark. Maybe you miss clicked one of those options. Choosing one or the other, or both, sets petplay into motion. So, you would have to choose not to buy the catsuit, which I'm sure is the choice you originally chose.

You can even ask HornyyPussy I had a meltdown over the petplay thing also in our DMs. I calmed down and realized that even cosplaying as a cat/dog/mouse/whatever, it's still considered petplay. In this case, Shizi likes being a dog, while Cat likes being... well, a cat. There's no difference in it.

No. The Cat choice just enables the choice for Shizuka. Either there's something wrong with the version of the game you have, or you misclicked.

If I choose "..." at that point, none of the petplay stuff happens for me; I have no idea why the choice isn't sticking for you.

Going to look at my save in a Save Editor and see if I can remove the Dog infection from the girl, if not, this may be where this game ends for me.

Start of the Update: Variable Shizuka.dog doesn't exist.

BEFORE the choice even shows up: Variable Shizuka.dog exists and is TRUE

During the choice: Variable shizuka.dog is TRUE

After choosing the ... choice: Variable Shizuka.dog exists and is TRUE.

So, I edited the save before the choice, made the variable shizuka.dog FALSE.

Loaded the save BEFORE the choice, choose ... and the variable is AGAIN, TRUE.

Trying now with URM.

I did.

But.

There's another problem.

An interaction with this problem AND KoGa3 Mod. There's a Persistent Value, Show All Scenes, that forces the Day129 Dog scene to happen in spite of everything.

I am calling KoGa3 here to avoid duplicating all this into his mod page.

After turning both the persistents to Zero, the scene proceeded correctly.

So, before anyone EVEN tries to say it was a Mod problem, no, it wasn't. The code here turned the petplay on,even if it started off. The variable was put into a persistent state and there was no change even when choosing to not have it. This was aggravated by the Show All Scenes from the mod that impeded the other changes to take effect.

Now that MY Shizuka is no longer infected with the Dog virus. I can enjoy the rest of the update.
