Alright, obviously I messed up somewhere. Anyone able to help me? I used both Koga WT mod and music add on. But I've always used them for the past 4 or 5 times and never had this issue. So I must have done something different this time?

persistent.day129shizukaDog is just the variable that tracks if you've gotten to that scene so that it unlocks in the gallery.
Hmm, maybe. Kogas mod is updated so I'm not sure it's a problem there? But I'll comment on his mod page just to be sure

OK, I am going to stop now. I was playing off the "Are you a five year old?" line in this last update, because Amy kept asking "Why?" over and over.
I chuckled at Jamila pulling an Uno Reverse on Amelia with:

That's a scene label. 1 just means that you saw the scene so it's unlocked for the gallery. If petplayenabled == 1, you get the make her bark choice. If you make her bark, shizukaDog gets set to 1, if you choose "..." it's set to 0.
Then there's if shizukaDog>0 checks for her dog content. I triple checked the code and tested again, there's nothing wrong with it.
It's not a mod problem, it's a user problem. The mod option is called "Skip decisions and show most scenes", it's obviously gonna ignore your choices and show the most scenesI did.
But.
There's another problem.
An interaction with this problem AND KoGa3 Mod. There's a Persistent Value, Show All Scenes, that forces the Day129 Dog scene to happen in spite of everything.
I am calling KoGa3 here to avoid duplicating all this into his mod page.
After turning both the persistents to Zero, the scene proceeded correctly.
So, before anyone EVEN tries to say it was a Mod problem, no, it wasn't. The code here turned the petplay on,even if it started off. The variable was put into a persistent state and there was no change even when choosing to not have it. This was aggravated by the Show All Scenes from the mod that impeded the other changes to take effect.
Now that MY Shizuka is no longer infected with the Dog virus. I can enjoy the rest of the update.

I guess by now you've all figured out that "I was Wrong".
No one likes to admit it, I know, we've all been there.
Breakdown:
- Played the update and per usual, since my very first time playing this, I installed the mod. I don't even remember when I put that setting in, allowing all scenes to be played. It was when this game was younger, and I was also very N00B at this. The kinks in the game back then weren't this extreme, or, I was pretty oblivious to what I liked or didn't like. So, I had it set to "See All Scenes". You see, back then, I could still feel some trust that MoonBox wouldn't put stuff in here that was capable to make me run to the toilet to throw up. I know better now.
- When a scene that, for me, for my sensitivities, is way too much on the creepy side, I didn't even remembered that I had given this creator a blank check and straight access to my barf limit. It didn't occur to me, that there was a time when I felt that that was an option. Sadly, for me, not anymore. I made a fool of myself then.
- In complete disbelief that I was "forced" to see something I didn't want to see, that I confess, is way above my limits, I lashed out. Blamed the QC, blamed the code, blamed the Dev. I did everything wrong there.
- In no moment of that frantic search for what and who to blame, did it occur to me that I had given a free pass to this game in the Mod Settings. It was done a LONG time ago, and it had simply been erased from my conscience.
- That is all fixed now. There's no longer an implicit trust in this Dev and in this game. I have, I hope, learned my lesson, and that trust given needs to be checked and not blind.
All that's left is to say a contrite "I am truly sorry" to Old Grumpy Wolf, to HornyyPussy, to KoGa3 and the rest of you that had to go through this with me and my sheer blindness.

What, is not the problem. It's to WHOM it affects that sets something above a limit or not. What for you is fine, it may not be for me.

There's a scene in this update, with some content that might be quite extreme for some people, however, if you install the mod, it will warn you about the kinks, and you can choose to avoid that.
Even thought some of those kinks are extreme for me, I choose to see some, and avoid some (for example the slapping of Mila on the scene of pet play, it felt wrong to me), for completions sake.
So, well, the game has some controversial content, and it has been explicitly said, and is your own choices waht will shape the gameplay for you.
