Hello everyone, first time making a thread here

Decided to make this thread to catalog great 2d animated H-scene games with Japanese/Anime/Moe artstyle (doesn't have to be Japanese creator) since the good ones are far and few in between.

I do have a preference for male protagonist and no gay content, futa is acceptable as long as its with a female. I've played probably played 50+ h games. Since I often delete games after finishing them to save storage, I could not include all of them but these are the games I find most memorable and what I think have quality H-scenes.

Below is the list divided by animation type, tier listed according to gameplay and quality of h-scenes.

Fully Animated H-Scene

S-Tier [Must plays]
Happiness Double Room (imo it has the best animated h scenes)
Summer Clover (same as above but harem)
Doris ❤ Lady of the Night (best interactive h scene)
IV AV Series (not available in F95, if ykyk)

A-Tier [Worth playing]
Re:Sister (very close to S tier)
B-Tier [Decent]
Your Waifu Foxgirl Konko (Too grindy for me)
C-Tier [Meh]
Undecided [Didn't Finish]

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Few/Limited Frames Animated H-Scene

S-Tier [Must plays]
Living With Sister: Monochrome Fantasy (the goat of imouto cohabitation games)
Unveiling the Unknown (manga-like h scene art)

A-Tier [Worth playing]

On watchlist/partially played

List will be updated once I finish the remaining watchlists, feel free to give your recommendations as well.

could you explain what you mean with "stop-motion-animation"?
So far I would only use that term for 3D clay-motion like.

Anyways, seems you have not yet found the holy grail which is Takamakuran's games. :p
Skillful few-frame-loop multi-layer animation meets splendid art. (hence none present in preview pictures)
On top you also get some lots of nice animation on-map, in-battle and such (with Mercenary's Adventure, that is). And proper translation.

Most accessible: The Mercenary's Adventure.
MY]
R: weird, far out, grindy, nothing gets explained, find the many, many endings (some horrible, some nice & very cool)
not yet played: New Game (I need sth. really, really good in reserve or sth.)

Hello, I guess I couldn't find a better word for it. The "Stop Motion Animated" refers to animation that's slower than 2 frames per second, the h-scenes are still animated but not a full 30 or 60 fps scene. Do you think I should change it to "Limited Animation" or you have any other suggestions?

I checked the some of the h-scenes of "The Mercenary's Adventure", it looked pretty good though a much darker genre than what I usually play. I'll put it into the watchlist and find some time to check it out.

ah, well, I don't know better either, so I used (made up) "few-frames-animation" and likely meant the same thing. :)

in any way, put your list to "watch". shall serve me well. (y)
