It's honestly a mystery. I remember there was one that I found on either one of those abandonware game sites or on fuwanovel. I think it was Viper V16.

I don't remember why I haven't finished it, but maybe I'll pick it up again someday.

Ok, so I have (rather miraculously) managed to boot this, but it's untranslated. There's a file that says 'disk 2 (patched)' but no respective disk 1 file. Do I have to manually apply the patch or what? Because that looks like... a lot of trouble, honestly.


ED: Seems the problem is that the "System disk (installed) patched)" file is just giving me a blackscreen with nothing else, so I've been forced to boot from the System Disk in the game folder which is, presumably, not patched. How do I go around fixing that?


ED2: Ok, after downloading xdeltaUI and using the xdelta patch file on the unpatched file that works, I have successfully created a patched file...that works.
I really hope this game is worth it, lol.

For the record, after I was done troubleshooting it the actual game took almost as long to get through from start to finish; as far as I can tell there's no branching routes or anything like that (most of the options I tried just stalled the story until I chose the 'right' one) and there's uh... one sex scene (one CG that lasts about 4 seconds) plus a couple of naked CGs in the shower. The actual plot is pretty much just a speedrun of Alien, too. Maybe worth just for the old-timey pixel graphics, but you're not missing much of anything if you give it a skip.

Can someone give me a step by step guide? These are just a bunch of words to me. There's something about a disk 1 and disk 2, I'm not finding these folders. I'm not the brightest. I need help.

There are 3 "disks" with the game:
1. System disk: file "Guynarock II (System disk) [installed].hdm"
2. Disk 1: "Guynarock II [FD]\Guynarock II (Disk 1).hdm"
3. Disk 2: "Guynarock II (Disk 2)-patched.hdm"
Please note that there is no patched version of Disk 1 in the root folder. So I've used file form "Guynarock II [FD]" folder.

Running the game:
1. Download the emulator form here

2. (optional) Download font file from here

You must be registered to see the links

3. Start the emulator using bin/np2x64w.exe
4. (optional) In the emulator select Emulate -> Font and pick the downloaded font file
5. In the emulator select FDD1 -> Open and select file "Guynarock II (System disk) [installed].hdm"
6. In the emulator select FDD2 -> Open and select file "Guynarock II [FD]\Guynarock II (Disk 1).hdm"
7. In the emulator select Emulate - Reset and play first part of the game
8. When asked for the Disk 2 later in the game, select FDD2 -> Open and select file "Guynarock II (Disk 2)-patched.hdm"

No manual patching was necessary for me.

The game is very short, like 20 minutes, very linear and basically has no adult content. Only few nude girl pictures and a very a short alien possession scene.
