So, what problem do you think this would fix? Games with high like/view counts have earned them by their popularity and seniority. The seniority indicates that they should have more content than newer games. How is this a bad thing? It doesn't impact developers, it only helps new players.
The problem is that the veteran players who have run out of games to play. It's also those veterans that are more likely to donate, and are more likely to try new games in the first place. What we need isn't to tell legacy developers to fuck off, but to encourage new, and potential devs instead.
