    Mori Enjoyer

    Version: Final
    Playtime: 30 Hours
    Gameplay/: 3/5
    H-scenes/Plot: 4/5

Dev got lost in the sauce, I would say while developing this game. It seems they heavily leaned on the RPG aspect/mechanics while just a sprinkle of h-scenes that came up short/wasted potential of what could've been.

Gameplay: 3 difficulties, DO NOT be like me and choose "normal" go "easy/casual." Solid enemies and dungeon bosses to fight that you had to actually prepare for (specific items, party layout, etc) However, grinding for levels i'd say is unavoidable and after the first major dungeon boss it gets hard as fuck. In a sense, it was fun playing and leveling up, however, once the DBs started to up the ante I was pissed. Certain Armors/Weps were upgradeable, I did not upgrade anything until the near endgame, even then it was too late and not worth it.

H-scenes: a sprinkle of H-scenes. FJ/BJ/HJ/Boobjob/Defloration/Missionary/Straddling/Doggy/Anal, the quality was there, but just wasted potential from the Dev not expanding on the Hentai aspect of the game. Pretty vanilla/tame content for the H-scenes to an extent as well if you were to compare it to other H-games with loli content.

Plot: Defeat Demon King and her 4 Dungeon Bosses. Sprinkle of mini bosses and side dungeons/quests. The main heroines and supporting heroines were cute/moe/sexy. Story got a bit convoluted at times, but went hand in hand with the characters' personality/progression.

Conclusion: Play on easy/casual. if you are a masochist, then choose normal. Such a shame the Dev put a ton of their focus on plotting out their story and game mechanics with a bland isekai protagonist. I very much enjoyed the social interactions/development of the main/supporting heroines.

I only recently have swung back around to RPGM games but I'm glad my first one back for awhile was Haitenai. I will admit that I started immediately on the Easy difficulty because turn based RPG games notoriously have a lot of grind problems and I didn't want to run the risk of losing hours at a time just on leveling.

The easy difficulty even without the casual option felt like a good middle ground between not having to dedicate half your week to game mechanics and being just difficult enough in boss fights where I did not feel like I could mash the standard melee attack each round and win every fight, which meant I could get invested in the different characters skillsets and how best to use them along with items without bashing my face into a wall, grinding, them bashing my face some more. Overall I enjoyed my time fighting and I did enjoy seeing all the different enemies in their respective areas, not to mention the boss designs which were all very interesting.

The porn itself while simplistic felt good to unlock, the taint system lends itself well to an RPG environment where I am going out and fighting for a while during different story chapters then coming back and receiving a reward for all that, although I definitely feel like the taint could have been upped significantly before you became totally useless in a fight, which would have also made giving more attention to the girls easier as well, they only had so many scenes but it might have been nice to have some different dialogue for continual play. I'd say that part of the taint system is my biggest criticism of the game.

Beyond that the story was better than I expected and I found myself genuinely invested. If I had a closing statement it would be I would like more games like Haitenai, because I do.

Looks really good when starting but devolves into insane grind during the early mid game. Best part by far are the cg's which are few in number but high quality.

The combat has a tendency to be on the slower side with a baffling inclusion. The turn where you select an attack is separate from the actual attack. This can lead to situations where you attack with a physical attacker only for the enemy to become immune to that attack or even worse set up a counter that will nail your team. My frustration hit it's peak near the late game where a certain boss uses the above system but 10x worse as well as having a massive hp pool. Complete mess.

Alternately, the cg's starring all main girls are fantastically down and do a real good job of motivating you to keep playing. Though they are few in number and really makes me wish the game was either longer or had more scenes as this is easily the best part of the game.

Also, for those who have issue with it, attempted rape and ntr are a non skippable part of the game.

Overall, Good concept, great cg's, mediocre execution,

This game was super good! Love the option to skip all random fights and still gain exp + money. Even at casual, it took me a good 17 hours.

The story is really interesting and the art is very well done. Never seen some pussies drawn this well! The world and characters are pretty innocent, which makes it's charm.

Only down side is the amount of grind it takes to level up. So many mobs walking around that I'd never could imagine someone grinding at normal mode. Would take ages.

tl;dr: okay RPGM game that is game first and porn second, ludicrously grindy on normal difficulty

I'm no stranger to RPGM games and RPGs in general, so I'm surprised to be repulsed by Haitenai's grind process. Like other RPGs, progression in Haitenai is primarily gear-driven. You farm drops in each dungeon, run it several more times for excess gear to break down into upgrade materials, then go to the next dungeon and do it all over again. The fact that the developers had to put in respawning chests to guarantee some gear drops should tell you just how atrocious the nominal gear drop rates are. Grinding for rare drops and/or upgrade materials will leave you over-leveled, in turn destroying the game's challenge. When the battles stop being fun, what's the point of continuing?

Speaking of battles, perhaps to double down on the grind-intensive product, the developers also made every mook respawn as soon as you leave the current screen. Most dungeons are 5-7 main floors long, each crawling with ~10 encounters. Select few dungeon spawns can be sneaked past, but most sprites autopath to you even when they haven't seen you yet, and seem to be able to see through obstacles, so you will be accosted by the same few enemies over and over again. Oh, and, if you fight too many battles, the game will drop the MC's stats until you walk back home to have sex. If the game wants me to grind, interrupting it is a grave sin.

I can, however, praise some of the boss fights. They often require some thoughts and tactics that I would expect in mainstream RPGs.

Aside from the grind, my other major gripe is the tonal clash between the game's primarily adult selling point, that being girls freely displaying their genitals at all times and generally accommodating to sexual advances (think free use with extra steps), and the overall tone of the plot. Throughout the adventure, the characters will experience the death of children and their loved ones, all the while the female companions' pussies are still on display. I just don't think drama and arousal are that compatible.

    Other assorted complaints:
-the bestiary isn't collapsable by dungeon, so you need to scroll through all 200+ entries to find the beast you want
-the MC acts too much like a beta to my tastes. You'd expect him to be more forward instead of dancing around the bush when he needs to be sexually purified, but Japanese games and tippy-toe MCs are, unfortunately, an entrenched combo
-the porn is just still images with facial expression changes. It's okay, but not especially arousing.

I think Haitenai would be better as a light-hearted RPG with a reworked progression system. Right now, it demands so much time investment from its players (on normal difficulty) but offers so little in return.

TL:DR: good game but really grindy.

    Good:
nice CG, varied and well done.
Combat system requires attention on normal diff, you can't just mash attack button. Numerous options are available to chose your combat strat.
    Story simple but efficient.

    Bad:
Lolis only? (althought everyone is an "adult")
    Grinding.
    Grinding (yes this much)

If you play on easy mod grind is less present but you'll lose on some content...

A good game if you're a lolicon and have too much free time. I dropped it after 10hrs and was barely at 25% of the game...

the casual option is well implemented. you can still grind a bit, but it doesn't take 5 hours. also has decent gearing options without being burdensome nonsense. also; it's a nice bottomless party. would recommend if you like what the pics preview.

Game started off decent. Honestly not much bad to say. Writing was passable and the art is very on par with what you'd expect.

Gameplay became very sloggy post around ~4 hours on normal. Can't speak for the other difficulties but if the whole classic FF battle after battle after battle isn't your thing then probably steer clear. The further you get in not only does enemy hp inflate but the amount of enemies roaming the areas increases a ton.

Basically to summarize, it ends up a rpg with porn elements, not a porn with rpg elements. So if that's what you're looking for this does the job of killing some time easily enough.

One scene stood out as a little bothersome where the cat-girl is nearly raped (we're forced to watch awhile before arriving to help) and supposedly some other ntr stuff (unless that's it in it's entirety) I didn't end up running into.

you can unlock all the cgs with ez mode, but if you want to 100% the game then you need to play the harder difficulty. it is very grindy.

personally i'm not a huge fan of the art style, but i don't mind it. there is a scene or two that could be very liberally considered ntr (catgirl). but the story is decent.
