Hentai (not game!) so good, it became my first buyed game out of all h games i played. I really appreciate autor passion. Characters is beautiful and most important, there a lot of detailed beautiful feet!

I can forgive the grind, I can forgive the luck based mechanics, i can forgive the incessant status effects inflicted by every enemy that makes each fight take ten times longer than it needs to be, but the constant error messages that crash the game makes this a total waste of your time don't bother downloading.

    It's bad.

The game is basically random x limited control; interrupted by story and mostly unrelated H elements
The story is a H type VN that goes on for too long, has side-stories, gets interrupted by gameplay and , yet again, mostly unrelated H elements.
    The H elements are:
    • a simple system of some scene with clothing display and speed controls;
    • some CG you get from unpredictable story and side-story content;
    • simple clothing damage seen from the back in the middle of battle.
It is also- random from story progress x in between gameplay x limited control.

It's ass and not in a good way. What makes it is a CN story that's basic yet drags on too long x limited control over mostly random gameplay x very good H art that isn't conveniently available or naturally occurring.
Every element is fighting every other. It's annoying.

The game is good if you like card battlers, but the overall mechanics are simplified for a porno game. Without the h-scenes, the gameplay can't stand out too much on their own.

The h-scenes are okay, but go by very quickly.

    It's an okay game overall

Do take a look at Steam reviews. They are on point. Half-demon Shinobi is a lost opportunity. The player experience with this mechanics-centric game is poor. That matters a lot, despite of all the things the dev did well or have spent money/labor on where we usually appreciate: art, VA, gallery etc.

The game is mostly about its turn-based deck battle gameplay, which in turn is like 70% polished in its mechanics. Chief among the incomplete part is card/equipment appearance probability. And if you don't get enabling cards/equipment early on, you get very frustrating runs. And if you happen to redo your first ever playthrough at any point, where you are of course least equipped, due to the re-running to level up mechanic, there is no fast-forward with already seen story events.

It's just unfathomable that the devs do not set aside enabling cards and equipment (e.g. +1 dice, create 1 玉 of the card's element) and significantly increase their probability -- this is near effortless to implement. And then it's similarly unfathomable that the cards to not have conditional appearance probability based on your existing deck. I have a hard time believing that one would fail to realize appearance probability as an important concept to consider before programming starts. (It's still not that hard to add it afterwards, assuming code modularity, which, one should strive to maximize.) If appearance probability was considered, It would be a foolish to neglect it. And it would be dubious to cut it to save money (instead of something else). This is not 1995 but 2025. There has been an endless amount of game examples (incl Fruit Ninja) whose author detailed their use of appearance probability to create a smooth player experience -- not that it's something a game designer has to be told. If appearance probability is implemented, then the question circled back to why not always give out enabling cards/equipment?

Instead, to cope with the lack of curated appearance rates of cards/equipment, the devs wants you to save/load at particular frames to reboot the game in order to reroll -- also as opposed to simply implementing card/equipment/event reroll.

Be ware that there is no way to give up a doomed battle. You *HAVE TO* wait til the end. Selecting ending run ends the global run. (Which is an awful UI/Ux decision.)

The game's core gameplay loop is very frustrating much more often than not. And the aforementioned chief reasons are not the only reasons.

In 1995, this game would get 4 star with unreserved recommendation from me. In year 2025, these and other very naive design weaknesses do not warrant anything above 3. A mechanic-centric game needs to have smooth player experience.

    4.5 out of 10.

Simply the best "porn" game I’ve played in terms of gameplay. It takes everything from Slay The Spire and crams in every possible element, addictive as hell, and I didn’t put it down until I beat all levels on normal and hard. The builds are fun, once you understand the systems everything is broken, and the enemies in the final stages are tough to kill. The difficulty curve is solid, I’m just speechless, as a game it’s perfect. I only wish there were MORE levels. But even that complaint is addressed with a perpetual death randomizer mode.

Sadly, I can’t say the same for the porn aspect. There’s not much kink or fetishes, and while the art is detailed and beautiful, it feels generic. I wish they’d leaned more into corruption and the monsters, but even those feel somewhat generic and sanitized.

But as a game, simply perfect.

    Half-Demon Shinobi [Completed]

The game is very complete, has many hours of very entertaining gameplay, without feeling like filler, due to the variety of ways to play thanks to the different sects.

The gameplay and learning curve are good, it is not a very demanding game in knowledge, so you don't need to do everything perfect to play and pass the game. The type of gameplay seems original to me, I have seen few titles that resemble what the game delivers, and the story is pretty good, nothing fancy, but it does not overwhelm you with text and goes to the point.

The music and sound is very remarkable, you can tell that there is a lot of quality and work behind it and together with the graphic aspect of the game, the scenes, animations and effects, it will definitely catch you.

The H section is close to perfection, you have a lot of scenes, all animated, of great variety and uncensored, the scenes are obtained relatively frequently and as you progress and do certain things in specific, so it becomes satisfying to collect them.

Whether you are looking for a game that will entertain you, with deck building oriented mechanics and good H content, this is definitely one of the best games you can try.

    I give this game a 9.6 out of 10.

    (Reviewed for version 2024-12-19)

    TLDR:
This is a great game. If you enjoy deck-builders, you're likely to enjoy this one even more. The adult content is present, but feels somewhat tacked on. I was drawn in by the epic soundtrack, but stayed for the engaging gameplay. Highly recommended.

    Gameplay:
It's rare to play an adult game that can compete with regular, well-made games in terms of gameplay and engagement. This is a deck builder. There are classes (sects) which you unlock sequentially, and each specializes in two elements. Is it balanced? Not really. But is it well-paced and fun? Absolutely. Once you beat the game for the first time, a new final sect unlocks, which doubles the fun and IMO, is the best way to enjoy the game. There's also an endless mode for those who have completed everything and want to test their limits.

    Story and Adult Content:
The adult content and the story are as "weeb" as it gets. You play as a normal dude tagging along with a female heroine who is hunting demons. You have to "cultivate" with her for plot reasons. However, for what it is, the story is coherent and makes sense. I wouldn't play it solely for the adult content and the story. On the other hand, the soundtrack is legendary, and the gameplay is the star. The complexity and intricacy of the deck-building were perfect for a casual player like me. If you've played the Gwent mini-game within The Witcher 3 (not the standalone game), you know what I mean. It's detailed enough to make you think, but at the same time, it's simple enough not to overwhelm you.

    In Summary:
Is this a flawless experience? Certainly not. But the amount of effort put into making it a fun experience goes above and beyond the perfect mark. I enjoyed it, even as someone who doesn't typically play deck-building games, which is a sign that many others will too.

solid game with decent playtime and good enough that you'll probably wanna beat all 4? stages on easy + hard.

i dont play rogue-likes and the difficulty curve was good tho there aren't THAT many cards and you'll only be sticking with one element per run.

the live2d in this game is actually good for once.

story is kinda boring i skimmed through most of it.

It's quite good gameplay-wise, although that may be just because it ripped off most of the mechanics/cards from the famous game that popularized roguelike deckbuilding. That's basically the one and only reason to play this game.

Personally I don't understand the criticisms of the RNG / level design. Yes, you are expected to lose at least a few times. However after just a few runs you unlock more powerful classes ("sects"), many minor stat bumps, and the ability to preview each encounter's gimmick.

The art, music, and voice acting are high quality, professionally done, but the writing is overall incredibly generic. IMO there's too little build-up, so the H scenes aren't particularly sexy, despite the attractive art.

Also, unfortunately, the game has several UI deficiencies, such as not displaying various card effects as buffs/debuffs, and not showing the full 16 card deck in the record (relevant for the ). The translation of card effects is also quite poor; many are misleading, unclear, or simply wrong. To me these are just annoyances but if this is your pet peeve, avoid playing it.

Holy crap guys. the production value of this game is thru the roof.
    1. Animation - there is a ton of it and its good quality too
    2. H-Scenes - The quality is pretty good too. Could use a bit more variety or more intense scenes
    3. Game play - Its a card game and a decent one
    4. Story - Pretty well done and its voiced too.

    Great game.

Combat is fun, you can spend some time on deck builds. Total 4 different scrolls you can choose from.

Story is finr, having a good ending is plus.

Oh, and the OST is great, which is quite rare for these type of games.

And most importantly, the art style, it is top notch. Not a lot of characters, but through story, you can see the characters have some emotions. Will play again.

Great game. Probably deserves 4/5, but giving 5/5 to counteract some of the 1/5 stars other people gave for disliking the gameplay.

Gameplay is surprisingly good for an H-game, and I found myself playing several times more because the gameplay was fun, and less because I was trying to unlock H scenes. It's fine to dislike the gameplay, but the reviews where the reviewer thought the game was too hard or random are very undeserved.

    Goated game. Here's why:

    Gameplay & Strategy:

Combat mechanics mainly consist of attacks/damage, shields, buffs and debuffs, all of which are either applied through cards or through passive items.

A well designed system of spell-card based combat with a rotational energy mechanic consisting of elemental orbs, which can be rerolled a limited amount of times, spells/ninjutsu, which require a certain amount of orbs to be cast, and passive items, which have a plethora of influential effects. The randomness of the elemental orbs granted means that if you don't build your deck to account for bad orb rolls and rerolls, you could end up having really bad turns where you roll orbs that you cannot make use of, therefore being unable to attack/shield/debuff/etc.

    Art:

All I gotta say is "awooga, hummina hummina" *slams desk*
    This shit is CLASS.

Sound: Everything makes sense, there's nothing bad about it. The music is fitting, no Kevin MacLeod OST, I'm happy with it. Chinese voices are much better imo, but as someone trying to learn Chinese anyway, I might be biased towards it.

Note: I can't say much about the story cause I honestly don't care for it. All I got for you is that there's a fucking OPENING/INTRO MOVIE LMAOOOOO

Good gameplay, decent story, really good art and sex scenes. Soundtrack was really good, the voice acting was top tier for this level of production. The game itself is a simple card game with basic mechanics, nothing too deep. The story and grind is skippable if you just want to get to the good stuff, the game also manages to fuse the defeat scenes and make it wholesome again, which not a lot of games do. Looking forward to the sequel.

    RECOMMENDED
    • Gameplay : 3/5
      - General gameplay is a bit hard, when its ruled by a lot of chance mechanic. It is offset by a pity system where you can comeback stronger, but the fault is within the bad RNG system.
      - UI wise, visually great some UX are off but it's made with effort and not some basic template.

    • Story : 3.5/5
      - The plot is served to build on main character's progression, pretty good.
      - it's not spectacular, but the dialogue and writing are enjoyable

    • Characters : 5/5
      - The women have personality, not some generic doll sex slave
      - MC is a gigachad simp, at least not a whiny little beta bitch.

    • Art : 5/5
      - All of the scenes are animated and voiced
      - The VA are really great in this game as well

    • Overall : 4/5
It's a great game. Very rare to see a lot of animations for a single game, it doesn't feel that grindy because of the lust system. The main girl is very attractive to me, so I love this game

Restart simulator, terrible card system where only a few elements are actually viable without having to restart for hours due to shitty re-roll dice rng and getting cards you can actually build around. Even if you work with better elements such as burn fire, poison or suicidal lightning some enemies will make your card requirements go out of whack making it excessively difficult to even be able to use cards. Then an map where first round more often than not you'll hit yourself with confusion THEN have first card nullified THEN next card wasted due to frozen. This fucking repeats until you are dead.

You are NOT meant to fucking win but use the pity system where they insult you for losing and give a "helping hand". I dont need your fucking pity if the gameplay actually worked well.

I give one star only because the h scenes are kind of nice otherwise this would be 0 star trash. I don't even understand what the other reviews get their good points from because there barely is any.

    Review for Full

I think this is probably one of the best roguelike lewd games I've come across. The core card battler gameplay loop is fun, the story is surprisingly decent for a roguelike, and it just feels like an overall well-rounded experience due to it actually being a completed game and not a never-ending work in progress.

The overview describes the story better than I would, but most of your time is spent actually playing the game while events sort of occur as you move along. I was almost mad because the ending was unsatisfying but then the game told me there's a true ending and that leaves off on a much better note. I wouldn't play this specifically for the story, but it is nice that it's enjoyable for what it is. They also have a nice QOL feature that lets you insta win battles to unlock more scenes and progress the story at a much faster pace, which is nice because runs can eat time. Lets you clean the game up easily.

The card battler system has a surprising amount of depth, again more than I'd expect out of a lewd game. After each battle you can add a card to your "scroll" with the basic strategy being to pick a single element and build around it. Items and what are essentially starting classes play into that as well. With a bit of thinking (or just being familiar with card battlers) I'd say the game is on the easier side. I won my very first run, lost my second run to bad RNG, and then won my third run as well. Though even if you lose there's fail-safes that let you start combat again with a debuff to the enemy. I was able to create some pretty strong decks and steamroll after a point relatively easily.

As you battle, the girl you're with builds up lust energy. After reaching max you can trigger a sex scene. Some require items or specific actions but I was able to get them pretty easily. Art is great, animations are nice, and the cute dialogue between the MC and the girl is nice as well. There's some variety with monster possession scenes and defeat scenes too, but the defeat scenes just reuse the same scenes as the monster ones with different dialogue. Couples instances of reused sex scenes with the main girl which was a bit disappointing, but that probably being the only real nitpick of this game is pretty telling that it's still great.

If you like actual gameplay with your lewd games and are into roguelikes this is a pretty easy recommend.
