would you shut up with your elitist snob ass? This site asks permission from the developer themselves and encourages you support the developers work. I am actually one of his top tiers, not that you'd know that. Let me tell you what I told the other hardass: Do you think you could develop a game with even more content more fast when the developer promises every 3 to 4 months to update this game majorly? And the reason you only got 20 minutes of gameplay is probably because you didn't explore everything: there are secrets both in the form of areas, weapons, and items. Sometimes you even NEED a certain weapon to access new areas.
Plus its not just animation,
they have to make sure an area has proper collision, proper non-collision, update blockade data that is destroyed to be non-collision, set door statuses to lock / unlocked, remove the necessary key items from the players inventory when they get past the final area, introduce dialogue, introduce an entire SHADOW WORLD of dialogue about Whispys traumas, every update is extremely barebones?
Well I don't see YOUR name on the development team, now do I?
If you think they're ripping people off I have a counter to say your smug lil' ass is insulting the developer and his wife.
It's choosing beggars like you that make the world wanna spin in reverse, because you know what makes the world go round? Money. And considering the cost of living, mortgages and taxes are only on the rise? You should be thankful you're getting ANY content at all.
Yes, I'm defending the game, and YES I'm doing it out of my pocket of my own volition, do you think you could do ANY better and at all ANY faster without support from family and friends, just the one you're married to?

Well I looked through all the content I could on this game and other games/projects when there was an information about them.
And I like the game. But the truth is that the content deminishes in ammount and quality.
Or I am just sad that the focus changed too much towards ABDL stuff lately.

Maybe there are more cool content for the game in the future or behind the "VIP" paywall in Discord, but the things that are posted after it was "used" by "VIPs" is bland.
There are a lot of new mechanics such as:
- dialogs - it gives us the story, but it is too "contrast" visually from the whole game
- weapons - there are 4 known weapons for me shotgun/boom-book/fart-rocket-launcher/baby-stick (baby-stick was added in 18th update, but is still buggy and don't have anu use; fart-rocket-launcher is cool weapon, but farts... funny joke?; shotgun/boom-book are super cool)

Well to make it short all the fun stuff must be behind the wall, because I feel like we see only fraction of it.

I donated once, but I don't feel like I will do it again.
Unless the game will feel as good as before.

I could replicate this entire game in about a month and a half, as for the updates would take 2 weeks or less
but that's for a person who has incentive to do it (eg if they weren't making money off patron and had to rely on final sales)

most games today rely on this pre-alpha module to sustain them in the long-term otherwise they would have to put in effort to keep releasing new games

I think gamers, especially on F95 often underestimate how much work it is to make adult games and how time consuming it is especially if they are good quality. I personally would class Happy Heart Panic as a high quality game I think the animations are great and the game itself is great.

I wanted to acknowledge and appreciate the time and effort you went through with your post. Thank you for doing so.

those guy really posted a novel each just to complain about game dev, mind you they did so on a site that spécialise on pirating such content so that no one has to pay to get it. Man i wish i had such free time

The problem is that, any time you ask, people will just say "PlAY thE gAmE" as if it'd be easy to figure out where the new content is without wasting an unnecessary amount of time just to find out it was a new piece of graffiti drawn on the side of a building or something like that, knowing how slow this developer is to add any any actual content to their game.

It's a pointless response from these people. Answer the question or if you don't want to, the least you can do is not be an asshole.

Don't create spam to what is a legitimate, game related question with something off-topic or irrelevant. I always report those posts, whether it is against the rules or not.

Hero : In the room with the number puzzle you can go further solving one more in the next room unlocks the star wand as a weapon (for me it wasn't working)

Baby : It's unlock option to go into a room behind the door in the back (diaper kink , potty training)

That isn't a self insert man, that's a nintendo game reviewer. Why would he idolize an IRL person who reviews nintendo in his games as an enemy? I dunno, all I know is he better have more than $500 when you smack him with your crowbar. It could be a new enemy, in that case it's a hate statement or just for the lolz, or it's an NPC for a few bucks to cuck. Everyone has their niche I suppose. You can probably line up the features of his face and nintendo shirt and reverse google image search till ya find the guys youtube channel where he does reviews.
I'm only top tier so I can support the developer and I didn't want to claim any tier awards, so it ain't me I can tell you that...
Anyways, good luck finding out who the reviewer is that was leaked into the game...

i was making a bit of a funny because i was showing one of my friends the new update and the gloryhole gameover for sam has this dude in it, and i happened to notice a bit of a similarity is all. im happy they didnt take the HHH approach and make him an ugly bastard of sorts (looking at you Red and Blue Nerds)

for the wand to work you need to have zero ammo. probably a bit of a programming bug, but since the wand requires zero ammo to use, the game has a bit of a syntax mess up and therefor wont allow yo to use the wand if it has more than zero ammo, which is weird

for everyone curious as to what the bulk of this update includes, let me dumb it down:

MAIN AREAS:
The main areas that received attention were the Dollhouse and the Daycare, specifically the forced babycrawl section.

DOLLHOUSE:
Updates to the Dollhouse include:
-Finished Gloryhole, as well as updated Dialog, Added 2 Game Overs
-Finished Webby, Possibly Updated Dialog?, Added 2 "Bankruptcies" (Game Over for those that dont know what bankrupt is somehow)

DAYCARE:
Updates to the Daycare include:
-Added Kitsune(?) Enemy(?)
Located to the far right of the Playzone Section of the Daycare behind a door that you need to be Shameless (in the babycrawl state) to enter.
She appears to be fully finished, despite a few things seeming odd, namely the fact that its primarily a normal enounter (you can wriggle out), as well as the fact that if you fail her class, even though it very clearly shows you uh... "using" your diapers, it still acts like the Spoods NPC, and your diaper is changed and your potty meter is reset. whether or not this is intentional, or if she is going to have game overs, im not sure.

OTHER CHANGES:
-Apparently Whispy and Sam had their voices changed again, i didnt notice, but that happened i guess.
-The Poster has not been removed, and is still just randomly showing up.
-i also didnt know where to put this because it doesnt seem to be common knowledge, but the wand DOES work. the reason it seems like it doesnt is because due to what i believe is programming, the wand takes 0 ammo to fire, meaning the game thinks you need to have AT LEAST ZERO ammo to use it, resulting in the game not letting you use it if you even have 1 bullet.
-the music for getting a game over has also changed i think, seeming a bit more techno and heavy, idk? or maybe im just hearing things.

Unfortunately they tend to be unusually flaky as well, hence why there are so few finished furry games compared to general pron. But you're 100% right, they have weirdly crazy skill ceilings and even unfinished many of those games are incredibly promising.

Just wish that promise would blossom more often, lol. So many interesting projects abandoned or in remaster/remake hell. Never got how you could remaster or remake a game that was never finished to begin with, but whatever...


Don't follow the game so not sure about the updates, but he's not lying about them making mega-bank at least...

Even at the low end, that's over 80k a year and it's very likely not all mid subs and that's not including subscribe star subs. I dunno, that's a lot of money, especially if they don't live in the US and that money goes further for them. Not sure about 5 five-time devs with that amount, though, unless he's earning on the top end which would be over 200k a year.

Regardless, with that much support, I'd expect frequent updates regardless of how he decides he wants to make it work unless he clearly stated he refuses to work fulltime on the game, is insistent on keeping it a hobby, and folk are free to pay what they want as random tips with the knowledge that he's taking his time.

That would still be a lot of money for a game that doesn't update often imo, but maybe that's just me...

Even if you have the technical skillset to do so, which is yet to be proven, replicating is not creating. Getting new ideas and animation concepts is a tad harder than copying an already existing model, it is certain to take time and not in a stable output.

Honestly I'd wanna see that unreleased game of theirs more than this one, the one that has a bunch of animations on rule34 (its a top down game not a sidescroller, but its not the other game thats posted on f95zone), idk the name, it had human protag but also my little pony characters (???) weird in that regard but it seemed more fitting for these types of scenes and less about ABDL.
