Welcome back to another episode of "making a changelog because nobody else will"! I'm your host, the one and only Stan, and ill be going over all 2 things that got added in this long anticipated half-update testbuild!

starting with the title screen, this should let you know that this update is in fact, not even finished fully, so curb your expectations, all newcomers and oldcomers.

right off the bat, a new addition to the map, however it states that it needs power to open. i suppose we'll come back to this.

1694312017815.png heading over by Daisy's Rodeo we find a newcomer, selling his wares. unfortunately this testbuild doesn't carry over any money you might've had since 19.1, so I'm broke as hell. we'll have to come back later. 1694312143055.png <= better look at the cart.

just like others have stated, there appears to have been yet another round of background changes to the daycare. yet the lab and garden seem entirely untouched.

alright, time for the meat and potatoes of this update, the playhouse. Right off the bat, This => 1694312780130.png seems new, but that's just a background detail. 1694312853399.png THIS is where things get interesting. ill just leave some snippets here so you can see some background details before i continue. 1694312975139.png 1694313006329.png 1694313052934.png

Heading into Jessies office we see this 1694313115841.png 1694313187035.png , and apparently J. Jonah Jessie needs us to find out where her missing customers have gone. us, being the cumbrain protagonist we are, i guess agree?? there's not really a cutscene here so I'm just using context clues. I'm not gonna spell EVERYTHING out for yall. 1694313340646.png we then enter the stage area to see our objective is indeed, rescuing civilians. the blue guy doesn't say anything important btw, something about drama.

Heading into the VIP pass area, things get dark. literally. its super dim inhere and you have reduced visibility. big shock. Additionally, Doggie takes a page out of Mob Of The Dead's book, and places a drink machine in an off limits area 1694313549556.png , a reminder of the unfulfilled promises they have made. anyway, our only option is the Costume Stage, so in we go. 1694313741652.png inside we find our first civilian not too far in, as well as a key. i feel i should mention that you can simply escort them to the door without picking up the key, and you can bypass mango spawning. so, yknow, do with that what you will.

i forgot to get a screencap of the other one, but mango triggers almost immediately after you enter the next room, so you have to rush in and hide next to the second civ and wait for mango to deflate, then you can escort her out safely...

and that's pretty much where the test build ends. mordecai is in the third room, but you cant do anything with him. so, that's literally it until build 20 releases.

hope you guys enjoyed this episode of "making a changelog because nobody else will", let me know how I did and stay tuned for next year when the real build drops! as always, I'm Stan, and you guys are some horny bastards.

So who is this Mordecai ghost enemy? I've seen missing posters for him alive and blond in multiple places

Well its that time of the year, AKA not even an hour after i finished my 19.5 review, and we're back with another episode of "making a changelog because nobody else will"! I'm your host, the one and only Stan, and ill be going over all of the changes that this update has wrought upon us! lets not waste any time because its 11:31 at time of writing this and im very tired--

1694316723464.png oh, you >>

Well, everything up to the 2nd civilian rescue seems to be as per the test build, but we're about to see whats new here!

1694317067363.png oh im sure nothing bad will happen when i grab this--

1694317203290.png we awake in a place vaguely similar to a level in Castle Of Temptation, but thats neither here nor there. we press on, sparking the following exchange: 1694317262046.png 1694317319550.png 1694317329920.png 1694317342158.png 1694317351249.png

what follows is a more high stakes version of the daycare crawl section, where you have a large amount of rats chasing you down, with the addition of mordecai as well, as well as a gas meter that's constantly ticking down, and if you happen to not be out before it reaches zero... well, I'm sure you can imagine.

after admittedly not being very fast, I managed to get through on my second try, and you'll be happy to know powering the gate gives you a shortcut back into that section. you're also greeted with this, which I'm not sure if this is new or not 1694317847922.png . I also somehow wound up with a rat in my pocket I guess? 1694317893090.png

all in all, id say this was definitely something! I'm not sure if id consider it worth 7 months, maybe closer to 5 if I wanna lowball, but at the end of the day who am I to judge. the scenes that we did get are all pretty high quality, and not actually as terrible as everyone said.. the mango ones in particular kind of felt like a cliffhanger, but what can ya do. the rats weren't too bad either, and my headcanon is now whispy has an army of rat kids, so that's fun. as for mordecai, I'm gonna let his speak for themselves, cuz i cant do it any sort of justice.

anyway, as always, I hope this has clued yall in on what exactly goes on in this update, feel free to let me know your thoughts! we've spent so long bickering about the time these updates take to come out, it's gonna be refreshing to see what people think of the final product, fetish complaints notwithstanding. anywhosies, im gonna go wind down, because its midnight now and my sleep schedule is ruined, but thats no big deal.

This has been another installment of "making a changelog because nobody else will", I'm Stan, and you're all a bunch of horny bastards.

Now to be polite I want to answer to your comment (Just for conversation).

Well. It is not a team, true. I just point out that progress was slow.:coffee:

And about the last part:
Well.
I just told about a human character that everyone has...
And yes, the developer is not an omnipotent being and can't give us bulks of content.

It's just that everyone want these bulks. :p
