Hara☆Min is a lacking VN in every single parameter, that could be considered a selling point. The mind control has almost no negative connotations, and it's useless because all the heroines are naturally infatuated with the protagonist. "Hara", exists in the form of route endings + bonus material. That's it. Misleading synopsis at best, fake advertising at worst. Finally, the incest has the mother being an outcast (not getting a route), and a warped sense of morality, where making a move on your older sister or mother is too much, but your underaged virgin little sister is A-OK. Adult content still serves its purpose, but the whole thing is disheartening.
Positive:
- Tags are good, complaints aside; H-scenes have some animations, and quantity; Sprites have basic animated physics; More visual resources than expected (like outfits); "Harazuri" (pregnant belly job), and they covered the lack of pregnancy with some post-completion material.
Neutral:
- Comedy is hit or miss (and tends to miss) - It's "pseudo-subtle" comedy with many meta elements, and small pauses for (not much) effect. It has its moments (mocking tsundere archetype shenanigans is funny, for instance), but that's not the rule ; TL is getting in the way (more effort than usual to read, thanks to the mentioned style of comedy).
Negative:
- High school setting and SoL, are incredibly dull; Characters talk with each other, but there's no meaningful interactions, or development); H-scene placement in the story is bizarre; Mind control + heroine willingness already existing is weird; Mother gets no route; H-scenes are short; Routes share events, and have no real story; Voice acting needs work (if nothing else longer sentences).
Score: 6/10. Not recommended unless you are a huge fan of the tags. This sort of VN need(ed) to understand, that they are either doing traditional or wacky. Commit to one of them, (preferably the wacky stuff) because the skill to pull both competently, is non-existent.
