VN - Ren'Py - Harem Hotel [v0.18.2] [Runey]

I really enjoyed this game so far. Came back after a year and had to start over again because there was actually content added to some chars that i already played through and thus had to unlock it properly. That to me seems quite rare for these games and shows that the developer has a certain standard and probably listens to fans aswell?!
I have to agree with one post mentioning the cyborg though. It is a big turnoff to me aswell when u can see the barcode and especially the asambly body part lines. It would be great if there was a module that changes her apearance to "normal" in every scene.

Wasn't going to leave a review because there are already so many and everyone knows this game is great but here I am anyway. The thing that really makes this game stand out is the great characters and character development. Top tier game, play it

Its a shame this was the first Adult VN I have played, it has set the bar too high. My standards are now so lofty that I have yet to find anything else here that even begins to compare.

The visuals are beautiful. The setting is a mesh of sci-fi, fantasy, and modern day without the game ever trying to rub it in your face, its just an accepted norm of the world.

The character designs are top notch without going over the top. For this world none of them seemed too outrageous, even the more voluptuous characters feel believable. The art style is very welcome and different from the herd.

The story is wonderfully engaging. The depth of the characters and their stories so far (ver 10.2) are great. Ones I thought I would not like truly grew on me and ones I knew I would like showed unexpected sides of themselves. Each of them can make you laugh, worry about them, and look forward to where their story goes.

This, to me, is a masterpiece in the making.

Harem hotel is a truly spectacular visual novel/game. The title doesn’t do the game justice, as it is about so much more than just a hotel filled with honeys. The characters are very well written and grow throughout the story in a way that feels organic and natural. There are a lot of different intertwining storylines in this game, and Runey manages to navigate them in a way that isn’t messy or confusing. This is a lot more impressive than it sounds given how gigantic the size and scope of this game truly is! Hands down one of the best visual novels/games I have played thus far, and I can’t wait to see where it goes in future updates!

EDIT: Runey continues to do their magic like only they can. I haven't seen another VN add so much backstory or lore - yet alone try to tacke some of the themes that this story does. I really wish I could rate it higher than 5/5 stars!

I'd say it has a lot of potential, in current version there are a lot of animated scenes, good pictures and things to do. Moving through the script is easy, there were some hiccups during playthough because I sincerely didn't knew tf game wants me to do but in general I liked it. And for such an early stage of developpement you can enjoy great amount fo content.

The game's story and writing is excellent. All of the main characters in the story are likable and the decisions you make in the personal stories of the each character feel like they matter in the long run. Additionally, the character development for all of the characters is great and believable. At the time of the review, Runey is expanding many of these choices and making the game a lot more complex in terms of choice as a result which is fantastic.
The character models are nice, and the scenes in the game are all good.
The sounds/music in the game is good and doesn't detract from the game at all, and the game runs well and has few bugs.
Overall, this is a solid game that is worth playing through. It has a huge amount of content with more on the way at the time of this review.

Fantastic game, something for every taste in there, even some harder kinks like watersports or exhibitionism, which you can skip of course. One thing I'd critizise is the big breast focus, there are characters with smaller chests ,but the ones with bigger and sometimes unrealistic large breasts are definitely more common.

The characters are written nicely, everyone feels like they have a believable personality (within the realms of this being porn )

great story, lots of content and constant updates - there are so many different girls and scenes with them so there is something for everyone. also the story has some really nice lore and there is background for each character

This is my single favorite game that I've thus far discovered on F95, and I've got an almost full 500gb hdd full of games found here. That's saying a LOT, in my case.

Honey Select tends to be a pretty polarizing platform, but the animations are spectacular and well established. The character models in this game are a great variety, all traditional proportions are well represented. In particular, Kali and Autumn really stand out on appearance.

Audio 4/5

The hotel lobby music is simple but catchy, and I occasionally find myself whistling along with it. There's ALSO multiple available soundtracks for the bar in the hotel that can be acquired. Considering many games on this site have no audio at all, this gets top marks. Incorporation of moaning in some scenes would be awesome, but I'm not sure the technical/practical feasibility.

Story 5/5

Top notch writing, very believable characters, and a great deal of variety in plotlines and personalities has made this one of the games with the most hours of played time. The grind really doesn't feel like a grind to me, and the game actually changes a lot of dialogue based on girls' stats (sluttiness, exhibitionism, submission, etc.). Felicity+Emma are my favorite girls' storyline thus far, the cabin scene with them +Ashley in this last patch was really touching.

Oh boy, where to begin. The genre/tag list should give you a pretty good idea what kind of content to expect, but there's a strong trainer/maledom/D+S theme throughout. Very impressed with the variety of content.

my actual favorite hentai game, the writing of the characters, while most of them aren't horribly original they are so well written that for the first time ever I was invested in the plot of a hentai game, the sex scenes are great however i feel could do with a little more animation rather than just loops, fantastic non the less.

One of the best I have played far exceeding expectations. I really like the character building and ability to upgrade and then focus relationships. Scenes are good and animations were as well. Still only about halfway through and look forward to picking back up where I left off.

Edit: A year later and story continues to build and further develop characters! 10/10

Amazing game! My favorite thing is that the game starts straight into teasing girls.I think its really cool that we have a fast paced game where you can do naughty things from the begining.And it has so much content for me took around 9 hours to finish it.

One of my favorite games on this site. It manages a fine balance between developing characters and world lore with a ton of sex and fetishes with a host of hot characters. This is a hard balance to land and without neglecting any characters in the process is impressive. The honey select models and scenes are really gorgeous and each girl has a distinct personality. and the game just gets better the further you play.

All in all, highly recommend this one.

Well made and enjoyable harem game. Lots of content. The screenshots don't really do it justice in my opinion, and the animations improve things even further.

It's well written and the personal stories actually get pretty good and heartfelt at times. The main problem with the game for me is that in terms of buildup, the game just goes from 1 to 10 immediately and just stays there. MC gets to fuck pretty much everyone within seconds of meeting them so there's no chance for anticipation. Large parts of the game, especially early on, also feels like just cycling through a linear gallery. Adding to that, a lot of the girls follow an almost identical progression where you're almost watching the same content over again, just with a different face or outfit. It felt like this got better toward the later content, though.

TLDR: Well made game but parts of it feel generic or repetitive. Great if you want to get straight to the sex. Maybe less great if believable plot with tension build-up is your thing.

The last time I played was some time ago, and there wasn't much content at the time. Last thing I recall was Autumn moving in and that was basically the end, now is definitely a very different story. He's added so much to all of their stories, It took me damn near 20 hours to finish it all great addition of the ingame timer btw. The visuals are absolutely fantastic I couldn't ask for more, the animations are great it does however kind of skip in to the animations though which is a little wonky. Looking forward to additional content for this game!

Writing definitely gets better over time. It seemed lame at first but later storylines are more interesting than earlier ones. Overall enjoyable, sex is pretty hot. Writing is the strongest point of the game.

UI is annoying, a lot of repetitive content and grinding, even with cheats it's not good. Navigation between rooms is too annoying, nothing like the good systems found in newer games. I used the walkthrough mod and it was still shit, can't imagine how bad the mystery navigation and event finding system would be without the mod.

Sex is too repetitive and procedural as you put different characters into identical scenarios and they mostly react similarly. You're going to be taking all of your girls to the beach and something different happens in maybe 5/20 times you're going there. Same with the cafe, same with the dungeon, same with the sleep with at night. It's good that there's a large quantity of different sex scenes but because they're so repetitive it's hard to feel like I've actually experienced a lot of variety.

I like the honey select art but not the top tier use of them as found in other games.

Man, I never expect to get all teared up from a lewd game.

Plus:

• Simple gameplay
• TONS of content
• Variety of characters. There are elves, robots, fairies, twins, and MILFs!
• The characters have interesting back story and personalities.
• The way characters interact with each other.
• The world building is pretty creative.
• Can be played without walkthrough.

Minus:

• Monster cock. Seriously, though, what the hell.
• Massive tits on some characters.
• Because of the Honey Select engine, all characters look young. Even the MILF looks like 20 year old.
• Some buggy programming. But none of them fatal.
• Some other bits for my nitpicking such as incomplete gallery, not much variety in CCTV scenes, and some mismatch of costumes.

At first I thought this is just a happy go lucky game like HS Tutor or Solvalley school. Well, on first few hours it is, but then the characters stories starts to unfold, and I got hooked. Especially for one particular character whose back story is very sad.

My top 3 characters so far:

• Android. Her character is very interesting. Especially the reason she wore mask.
• The clones (or should I say twins?). You will hate them at first, but then you will sympathize.
• Autumn. She is sexy and her trying to deny her lust is very hot.

I also like the Korean girl. In the game, the MC corrupts her into liking butt spanking. But I found out that the game actually corrupts me into liking that.
My wish for this game:

• More Ellen scenes!
• More elaborate exhibitionism.
• More threesome scenes.
• A window containing character profiles would be good.

Harem Hotel is a story based harem simulator or at least that's the easiest way to put it. It has a pretty interesting story and also has a ton of lewd content. I must say if your looking for something that will entertain you for a while this game will do it.

Plenty of content and events, all the girls are unique in their own way, nice sense of progression with each of them. There is pretty much always something to do. The world is totally a sex focused world (with the way people treat elves/androids) but it manages to be coherent which is nice. Still can't pick the best girl.
