What I described in the title was just a brief intermission and not a big plot point. He passes out or goes to sleep in the other world, and when he opens his eyes he is in the hospital, having apparently just woken up from a coma. For some reason he was in an all women ward, and apparently he also managed to sleep walk while in a coma and caused a bunch of trouble. I literally remember nothing else from that game. Maybe it was 2DCG or Koikatsu, but I'm not even sure about that anymore.
