THAT THING. I also thought it was a bug.
It's not, just press up arrow key and you'll notice that...
...it's actually a sudden dungeon crawler scenario, the char on left side will move.
TERRIBLE.
Also, make sure when you go to stage selection, you pressed "0-1" or any button on the left ─ I know, I also pressed "TEST" button thinking it would start the game and found exactly that.
Game is not broken ─ just terrible UX decisions.
(in case the mere fact of requiring middle mouse button didn't made the poor UX design obvious; most mouses no longer have a middle mouse button).

Whats's the changelog for 0.61? I "finished" 0.56 with the 5-B level, but for what I could see, 0.61 is still blocked in that level.

Deleting the auto-save file seems to resolve the issue. However due to the fact auto-save seems to generate itself, it will inevitably lead to another crash soon.
