Seeking Harem with deep romantic relationships

Hello.

Looking for harem (or at least with more than two LIs) games focused on developing deep and romantic relationships between MC and LIs. I prefer slow burners and don't mind when first scene with LI is after several hours of text.

I don't mind any tag, but unavoidable gay (excluding sissified/transformed/shemale LIs) and netorare or netorase (don't mind netori). I'd also prefer, if they aren't a big part of the game, even if they're avoidable, as branching usually means less developers focus on other content. Same comes to mechanics, I'm ok with almost everything like sandboxes, management, grinding (if it's hard, I'll just use console), etc. I only don't like mutual exclusive content. Hate when game forces me to pick between some LIs (so BaDIK is out of option) and it goes also to scenes. I don't mind when it's a chose between where to cum or if I prefer blowjob/pussy/anal, but not when game forces me to go on a date with X instead of Y, even if it don't affect further game. I know there are multi mods, but it still breaks my experience and that kind of games is a last resort. But don't get me wrong. I don't mind some choices and even possibility of fuck up because of lack of relationship points. I don't mind love/dark routes split as long as I don't need to have more than 2 saves. Why is it different for me than being forced between going with X or Y on a date? Because there are two different relationship styles with one LI and I don't have to think at second playthrough if here I went to bed with Sarah or Jessica. Also, I usually play dark/corruption route only with skip for scenes after I finish content on preferred route.

Games of this kind I already played: Project S.P.E.S, Cosy Cafe, DropOut Saga, Hero Party Must Fall, The Higher Society, Limitless, Lost at Birth, The Nature of Magic, Photo Hunt, The Radiant, Single Again, That New Teacher. If you're interested in this kind of games, I can recommend all of these titles with exception of The Higher Society (check my reviews for further explanation) and Limitless as it's quite short and abandoned.

The only ones that fit these criteria and are high enough quality for me are:

Desert Stalker: The protagonist has a relationship with all the members of his household, and they also do it between them. It can get pretty brutal in its depictions, but there is an option to soften the content in the game. Top Notch.

V.I.R.T.U.E.S: The protagonist develops a relationship with seven women at the same time, no caps on it. Beautiful game.

My Cat Girl Harem: Short, sweet and wholesome. Build a harem with 3 cat girls.

Playing Desert Stalker and I agree it's top game. Coming back to it every update, just didn't mention it in OP as it's more story than romance.

Adding both titles to my list. After checking description and tags, Virtues looks like something perfect for me, but would just want to confirm, if harem ending is an option? If yes, I think it'll land almost at the top of my list, but first I need to take a small break from HS games as my last 4-5 games had this style.

Harem Hotel and Treasure of Nadia are classics, it's likely that youve played them but Ill recommend them here just in case since you didnt mention them in your post. Harem hotel is def more focused on characters/relationships whereas ToN is more story focused

Saw Harem Hotel few weeks ago, while checking harem games with high rates, but didn't add it as it doesn't have romance tag and, so thought it's mostly only a sex game without deep relationships. When I do this kind of research I'm usually opening 20 games, so it's hard to do proper research, but If you recommend it, I'll give it a try

About ToN, it's on my list for a very long time, maybe even a year. Just can't force myself for RPGM with a lot of text and there's always something before it.

Finished all the current content just literally a three weeks ago. Beside of Rae, there was almost no romance and it has the most terrible cast I've ever seen in any game. Literally there was only one LI I liked and others were bitches, tantrum throwers, annoying, boring, stubborn, dumb or have other flaws.

Thanks. Actually I like AI CG, but futa MC isn't really my kink. However, if there's gallery and you have some scene with other futa and actually pussy fucking, not anal, it's something I was always curious. Most of futas are usually fucked in ass, not pussy.

Also that's because you're looking at a "western" definition of Futa which is anything with a dick and tits. All of the Futa x Futa scenes in my game has been vaginal no anal yet. My AVN is primarily Futa x Fem with some Futa x Futa (optional) and some Futa x Monster Girls (also optional).

Mythic Manor is pretty charming throughout. Everyone gets along and are a bunch of sweethearts. There's only one character who's a bit standoffish, but she's great. Also, you can progress most of them individually at your preferred pace. There's also scenes with multiple characters.

The main 2 that come to mind are Lessons In Love and My Bully is My Lover. I haven't finished either, but, as far as I got, both are pretty good.

Lessons In Love develops the characters quite well and you can be in a relationship with multiple at the same time. It takes a good while until you get to some actual scenes but, by the time you get there, you will probably be invested in at least some of the characters. Fair warning though, while you don't have to develop a romantic relationship with every character (in fact, I am pretty sure you CAN'T with a few of them), the game does tell you that you have to get points with a bunch of the girls (not sure if it needs to be all of them, but I am going for all of them) to progress the story. Also, choices can (sometimes) have some considerable consequences and they aren't always super obvious (without spoilers). All in all, pretty good game and I think fits your request fairly well.

My Bully is My Lover is also pretty good and might actually be the one that fits your request the best. The girls are great and you get to know their stories and develop a relationship with them quite well. You can also have a sizeable harem. I don't think you will need a lot of saves here and the choices are usually obvious for developing a better relationship with the girls. I highly recommend this one.

Now, I am not sure if it fully fits your description, but have you tried Once in a lifetime? You can have a harem and you do develop a relationship with the characters, although romance is mostly with the main 2 (or 3, depending how you count). I finished it and I like nearly all the girls, with the main 2 being great. I will warn you though, it only takes 1 bad choice to completely lose a girl. That said, the choices are nearly always obvious (I can only recall like 2 or 3 that weren't in my head) and you can know if you made a wrong call pretty much instantly (either through the points or looking at the status of the girls in the menu). There are a few mini challenges on the beginning of the game that might take a bit more trial and error then one might like (if you want to do as well as possible in them but don't like to load your save several times), but that is really only on the beginning.

Also, in case you liked Once in a lifetime, the developer is making another game called Eternum. I haven't played this one yet, but I imagine it will probably please you if you liked the other one.

Lastly, I only played some of it a good while ago, but I think Ripples had some good potential and seemed to fit your request. Pretty good until the point I played.

I don't mind strong/tough characters or tsundere. It's boring, when everyone's lovey-dovey, so diversity is a good thing for me

Also, you can progress most of them individually at your preferred pace.

That's what I love in sandboxes. Depending on a mood I can "spend time" with LI that I pick.

Was doing research for this one literally yesterday. Everything was looking good, but reviews says that MC is a total jerk, even people who gave 5 stars to this game. It gives me a big doubts, but maybe you could clarify a bit and convince me?

Also, the developer of My Bully is My Lover has another game called Sicae which, to my knowledge, happens in the same setting and has a similar vibe when it comes to the romance and harem aspects. I haven't played this one yet though.

I have feeling that dev dropped first title and started focusing only on Sicae. Last MBiML update was July last year according to OP update. That's sad, because LIs looks gorgeous and description is convincing.

It have mutual exclusive scenes (don't remember well, because it was some time ago, but readen that there are few moments when player need to decide, if wants to go with X or with Y and there's no chance to go with second LI later, so the only option is multi mod) and dev really thinks about mutual exclusive LIs, there was a poll and if I remember well, option for mutual exclusiveness won. It's also on my backup list, but on a very far place and maybe when game will be finished and dev will abandon idea about mutual exclusive LIs, I'll come try it.

Well, for the protagonist of Lessons in Love... It is a bit complicated. There is a mystery aspect on the game (which I haven't fully unveiled yet) and the MC seems to be a fairly big part of it, so I don't want to get too much into it and accidentally spoil it.

What I can say however is that he is no saint, but I wouldn't go as far as the people on the reviews (I was also hesitant because of them before starting it). If you can ignore the age gap (probably one of the most reprehensible aspects and even the MC acknowledges it) and consider that, sometimes, he doesn't feel fully in control of his own actions, he ends up far better than what the reviews picture him as. Still reprehensible, but not as bad as advertised. If you think of it in real world lenses, it is REALLY bad, but if you look past it, not so much. I don't think anyone will be singing him any praises, but he isn't a monster or a piece of shit in human form like the reviews might have you believe. And hey, if nothing else, the MC is one of his harshest critics, so at least you won't see him doing something horrible and acting like it was good. He will actually be the first to call his own bullshit out, even more so than most of the girls (sometimes only on his mind, sometimes outwardly).

That said, there are moments where the game will push you into uncomfortable situations and force a decision you didn't want. These are done more so to give emphasis to the horror aspect of the game than anything else (the forcing of a decision was also rare, but impactful). It didn't happen much (up until the point i played) and, other than that, you actually have a lot of flexibility and control (decisions have impact and consequences in many situations and you decide who to interact with the vast majority of the time, exceptions being main story events).

Also, I should probably warn you that the horror aspects can take a while to appear (ignoring some stuff at the very beginning of the game).

All in all, I highly recommend the game, if only with a few caveats. If you are anything like me, you can look past them easy enough and enjoy the greatness of the game. If you can't, nothing wrong with dropping a game that makes you uncomfortable. I don't think you will know for sure unless you try though.

Had another look at the games you listed and, frankly, I think the only scenes you might have a problem with are the horror coded ones. Most of the the other stuff about the MC I think some of the MCs in your list are also guilty of.

Hmmm. Some of them suggested that MC is using LIs only for sexual purposes and is treating them badly (imagined insults and rape). How does it really look? I can stand, if MC is crossing boundaries and is pushing LI to something by corrupting her by for example touching her in places when she's not clearly ready to be touched and only thinks about it, but if it comes with insults, degrading and girls are clearly saying NO, then I know it's not for me.

About age gap, I don't mind it and actually it's a bonus for me, if MC is mature and LIs are 18-21 years old.

This one is LONGGGGGGGGG, its a great game, stardew valley but w nsfw. However its complicated to navigate through since the game doesnt tell you how to "start". Theres little quest help at first, but when you trigger the first quests, it kinda just makes sense (domino effect). Uhhhhhh, yeah very long story, a lot of characters to develop relations with. Also Shota.

You're right. No mutually exclusive LIs. In spoiler however you can see post about branching story (werevolfes/vampires) and poll was about mutually exclusive scenes. I just don't want to be disappointed due to future dev ideas and there are many more games to play. All good people just in this topic gave me recommendations with 5 games added to my list, so it's a material for maybe even a month of playing
