Ren'Py - Haremwatch [v0.03A] [Gachapen Games]

I have wasted my time downloading this so first. I did so because previous reviews were all 5 stars.

Models feel a bit generic and bland, just average.

Same with sex scenes, I have seen a few, and they literally repeated each other, with a change of clothing and text only.

Story for the first part was alright. But how easy the "medical doctor" throws herself on MC is offputting, together with some other women getting naked/sleeping with MC. I can understand this game is not about corruption, but this is way too easy and fast.

Now lets get to the issues that made me put this score.

As soon as we got into free roam the game turned into a huge mess. Free roam is added to the games, in sandbox mode, with clear directions, purposes, you go there you do this. Here you are dumped after prologue, into an endless maze of 100 rooms, 10 corridors, 4 elevators connecting each other that hold no purpose at all, have no interactions, no characters inside.

Quests similarly have no real direction, they just say deepen relationships - for most part.

Another negative point is how "relationships or paths" are marked, love and hate role, what is this?

Now, after wasting time with the prologue, and senseless sandbox, seeing a bunch of bland scenes, the game turns to "night" and tells me to go to the next day. But this is impossible, there is no button to sleep, no button to pass the day, nothing interactable in your room.

There is a critical bug in first day after you finish the prologue? That does not allow to progress game.

P.s. you do not need to introduce hundreds rooms, hundreds characters, before making any content with them, the things can be rolled out gradually, and be unpressable/hidden until then, there should be a direction in sandbox, sandbox is not just about having 100 empty rooms to do nothing there.

One of the only one of these games where I actually bother to read the dialogue. I don't know why but the concept of everyone being so unfamiliar with sex just really engaged me. Will definitely keep an eye this.

Amazing game with ameizing developers and artist, sparse map and locations beautiful scenery and scenes, hairy coochies galore, extremely good art with a very good update plan what's not to like. The writers are also very good and nicely hint and foreshadow future scenes and events while also keeping the lore of the game somewhat applicable. In my opinion it's a 10/10 game and I'm sure it's gonna stay that way the way things are planned.

Love the art and the story isn't half bad either. Seems like a lot of content for an early release, but I'd love to see you keep it up! More animation would be cool though. This is probably the best OW porn game in progress rn

Can't stress how well made this is. I'm not even 30 minutes into it, and there's so much to unpack. In my opinion it shoots an insanely large portion of other games outta the ball park. My only complaint is that we're not far enough into the future, so that this could be experienced ready player one/sword art online style. Well done! I hope this game grows, and with it the funding and dev team working on it. <3

the overwatch game we deserve, wanted, and needed.
great art, setting easy to understand even if u not a overwatch fan, writing pretty decent.
some good scenes in it already.
really need more of this soon.

An incredible start to a game (0.02A). The goal for this game is certainly very very ambitious, yet I can see the skeleton the game will be building its many many features upon and it looks quite solid. This may be a game that proves to be more than just an event finder and I am quite excited about the idea of missions that you can partake in.

Everything is very well done and the portraits for all the characters are quite nice. The setting (aside from what's taken from the lore) is interesting and with only a single wink to camera, plays it straight. I could turn my nose up and be snobbish, but its better done than anything else I've seen and the nature of the world ties to all of the interactions you have and not some simple afterthought as to why you're fucking these bombshell beauties. I enjoy the characterization of all of the characters we've met so far, I do think that Bridgett's full sex scene came a bit too fast in the story. But that's my only criticism.

I enjoyed this game right away and up to the point where I had exhausted all content. I will be keeping an eye on this.

Well, yeah, its good still, but if your into the OW lore, which is not much tbh lol, you see some... well interference with the lore of the game? ofc, maybe thats absolutely the point of the game - but for example it just doesnt make any sense that Reinhard is one of the founders of Overwatch, while his friend that died in the omnic wars were called by Overwatch and Reinhard still was only a Crusader. Reinhard only got into Overwatch after the dead of his friend and mentor in Eichenwalde.

And yes, thats alot of nerd shit, but still, its relevant. Expect the dev just says "Well, it is how it is" haha - which im fine with, but then story is just not as relevant.

Probably the best overwatch porn game I've ever come across and It's only an intro. I was actually shocked by the lack of good quality overwatch porn games considering the massive amount of overwatch porn in general. I hope this one goes somewhere, it would be a shame if this was it.

Let me preface by saying, I appreciate all the hard work the devs have put into the demo build of the game. I gave it a star solely for that. I'll also preface that I am not an ardent OW player, (played the game for like 30 mins tops and saw the memes and the ocean-wide amount of NSFW content) so for any lore of backstory that was presented in this game I do not blame the devs, but rather Blizzard for a piss poor job at worldbuilding if that's what happened in their lore.

The intro to the game is fine, it's fast and meant to fast-track us to the part we want to get to, the Overwatch section. They did a pretty good job of explaining the logistics of the time skip. But, I did not appreciate how the game starts the OW section. At first, seeing Mercy with her iconic Angel Wings is exactly how the game should start. Usually, every time we see her with those wings out, she's doing something heroic or saving someone. Only, it turns out she's been using you as a sex toy for the last 90 days while your brain was frozen and you were an unwilling subject. That's not a good way to introduce your marquee girl, but I'll let it slide. But keep it in mind, we'll come back to this point later. While Mercy gives you a full tour of the OW facility, the game makes it clear you are a horny man who cannot control their erection. I'll also give this a pass because at least they explain why you are constantly horny, it's thanks to the experiment done to you before you went into freezing. The thing is, however, your being constantly horny is the main reason why you are even relevant to the story at all. Ana orders you to be thawed out so you can get to banging her employees so they can stay in tip-top shape, but otherwise, you are meat to them thanks to their asexual society. Mercy even says she has a "wife" and admits it so again, which was a total boner killer since she says this right before you were gonna get it on again. Oh speaking of Ana, she also rapes you in your room on your first night. Again, we are not getting great impressions of the girls in this game. I can't tell who to blame here, either Blizzard's bad worldbuilding and the devs have to work within the confines of the lore, or the devs seriously expect us to like being meat for these girls and you have no say in it. You could argue that the more you bang them, the more you could corrupt them into just being your sex slaves, but I don't have the patience to find out.

Perhaps we could rewrite the story to still fit the OW verse and just remove the entire you are stupendously horny gimmick. When I was playing, I was thinking, man wouldn't it be cool if I could do something more than just be meat for the girls? They even acknowledge you have no combat skills and are useless in the field. Maybe they could pull a Null Hypothesis and have you develop your powers over time, and be useful here. Maybe that's what the devs have planned, but I honestly got so turned off by Mercy and Ana that I did not care to even keep going with this game.

Again, I appreciate the work put into this project and I hope the devs have a long and successful development cycle. But unless they rework the premise and give us, the player, a bit more say in what's going on, then unfortunately I won't be coming back until more time is put in. Maybe they can turn it around and keep the premise, just make it so the girls don't feel like emotionless meat sacks that need to get fucked. It felt unearned like here you get sex for just logging in. But anyways, here's some quick bullet points.

Pros: Artstyle is lovely, I do hope if they integrate AI art, it's only for very filler scenes or backgrounds that we won't pay much attention to, never for character art, as that ruins the whole point of the development.
AI voice was fine, until it started to show that it was AI voiced lmao.
The 4th wall breaks were funny.
UI is clean for the most part, much better than most games on this site.

Cons: Marquee characters leave a bad taste in your mouth with their introductions.
The story has potential, but it elects to take the easy way out. We don't expect masterclass writing for a porn game, but make it a little less obvious.
The lore. It feels generic and uninteresting. Again, this would be a criticism if the devs made this, but otherwise, if Blizzard made it, then no harm done.

Extremely promising game. I think I'll even throw some money at it for a few months and see where it goes considering how good this is already with next to no support.

An excellent start! The game is a VN that delves into the lore and personalities of Overwatch. My only grips are that it is a looong opening before you get a handjob and that once you get to sex the boobs do not jiggle...

This game looks excellent, the Characters are all very well drawn and sexy and the menue is properly designed and easy to understand. Some small OW Jokes from time to time and this is going to be my favourite.
