The list goes on. Me personally I haven't been able to find a game that I thoroughly enjoyed since 2018-2019. Maybe I just don't know how to find them anymore. Does anyone else agree?

Threads like this get posted every so often. The answer is always the same:
When you first discovered the "world" of porn games, you got to see years' worth of people developing these games dropped on your lap about as quickly as you could find them. This spoiled your impression moving forward. Now that you've largely exhausted the list of fleshed out games that perfectly fit whatever it is you're into, you're starting to see just how niche a market this whole scene is and how slow development for these games tends to be.

Is what it is. Follow (or maybe even support) games that look like they could turn out good in the future and keep searching for those hidden gems. Any illusion of some "golden era" of porn games you might have been under when you first explored them was just that, an illusion.

patreon content guidelines are putting a heavy dampener on anything that even dips one toe into abusive content, which makes it almost impossible to write interesting stories. I mean even if you didn't focus on incest or bdsm themes, you can't really have anything bad happening to your characters. like pick a good movie, any movie, and there's guaranteed to be content that would get it banned as a VN on patreon.

it doesn't of course completely stop you from making stuff like that, but it's essentially demonetizing any such project. I think we'd have massively more interesting games if it wasn't such a hassle to monetize them. making games is hard enough without having to deal with that.

Man of the House is actually decent if you like porn games that have actual game mechanics involved. The folks that just want a quick sex game will call it grindy but the writing is decent and I prefer games that are more than just visual novels. Graphically it hasn't aged well but it was good enough for me.

Absolutely loved that game, busted at least 20 times to that game. A intricate and fun corruption game, easily one of the most slept on gems of the genre.

What happened?
People were not exposed to good games like that and instead support RPGM/Censored slop, so all the good devs move on.

I don't like 'shitty' 3d hentai games.
I would recommend you check out Goons Raid Her and Ahsoka In Exxxile.
I know that after a while a lot of these 3d games start looking alike, but there are a few that have their own style.

I think that was the early tech demo

The finished game is a lot closer to Goons Raid Her in nature, same side-scrolling view. Tons of sexy content, and he's definitely raised the bar, quality wise.

Man of the House is considered an old game, practically ancient in terms of the community. At it's peak, it was one of the most popular, and successful games. It was a trend setter that largely helped define both the sandbox genre, and the incest tag as a whole.

However, the game finished development years ago, the dev(s) claim that it's finished. Those who wanted to play it, already have. There's rarely a reason to discuss it unless discussing the communities history. There are several games who do both incest, and sandbox better, and some that do both at the same time.

Architect(the guy who made Hack and Stalk and Goons Raid her) made other games. But overall, these heavier-tone or incest games are being affected by the new Patreon rules. There is also milking the devs do, most updates tend to be much smaller with longer intervals, which negatively affect anyone who is used to higher quality.
