Have you guys ever seen Light Novels or comics with AI-generated art?

I have some interesting stories in mind, aimed at our adult audience, with ecchi and fetishes, etc. My biggest concern is about the art.

In your opinion, is it practical to create a Light Novel or comic with AI-generated illustrations? The Light Novel would have a few illustrations, but the comic... well, it would be fully illustrated. How do you think the audience would perceive that? Sometimes it feels like there’s more noise against AI art than the reality.

But again, I’m only considering using AI because I don’t have the drawing skills or the money to pay a real artist. And making a romance book focused on the adult male audience almost never works out.

As long as it is well written and high quality and relevant renders ("normal" + romantic as well as some lewd ones) , (that is not always easy to make with AI), i think it is ok. and making renders with AI is not for free either, it consumes a lot of power

I play a little with AI, not a great guy doing so buuut i guess it enlightened me. Im a writer, the possibility of having fun with the images really caught me up.

it is a lot of fun, but can be very frustrating. newer checkpoints are easier to "teach" to do what you want it to do though. you can find a lot of tips and resources at

I do have a civitAi profile, let me present you to my infinite mind of "creating my own characters" lol, very little lore or storywise, but you can see ive been working on cohesive designs for the characters.
