VN - Ren'Py - Heated Hashtag [Ch.6 P2] [Velvet-Ink]

The start was bad, especially between the two first chapters where Ava was a significantly different character. I didn't finish the game yet but I can say it's pretty nice. It's still early AI designs but still ok to enjoy. The writing went significantly better and the tension in the dialogues kept growing up, and for me that's the most significant part of any game or kinetic novel. Choices are still AB routes for it's enjoyable to satisfy NTR/NTS sensibilities. Good game, good luck dev for finishing the game and wrapping up a good story, keep up the good work!

EDIT : I just finished ch6p2, it was really enjoyable and i liked it a lot. Stories/games like this one are really good when you take time to read, feel the tension building up and commit to the story. Hope the dev stick to that direction. Maybe when the game is finished - and only then - the first chapters can be reworked so more people enjoy the story and buy the game.

Inconsequential. At least the "characters" are less bad than some other AI games. The played out description speaks volumes, " Dive into a story of self-discovery... Will they find confidence and intimacy, or will the heat push them to the edge? "
The term "character" is a bit generous for any of the females in the game. And upon further consideration, same for the males. It's all so dull and the writing pretentious, but at least two of the girls look good (Ava and Lila).

The game has NTR and swinging on the tags so I expected more at least routes (Love/NTR/NTS) but it only has Love and NTS. But nothing that I rate it's just for people that are looking for that information.

However.. the game is now around a year in development and for that the result is terrible. The game actually has a lot of problems but I will only point out the most critical ones. (Story/AI-Images/NTS)

Story:
I got used to that AI games strength is not on the story side. And here it is the same. It's pretty boring but the actual problem are the tons of tons of text. And specially black images with "Liam walks.. - Liam put..- Liam looked". Why not showing it? So many things, moments whatever are just written down. It's an aVn and not a book. And hits even harder when you are constanly reading boring conversation specially between Liam and his buddy. So like a lot of other AI games it's more of a skip and fap experience. BUT!!

AI/Images:
But those are terrible as well. I mean it's AI and we kinda know what we can expect. So specially in the first 1-2 updates Ai mistakes are not good but hey the dev is probably still learning.
But its so much worse. His gf is all of the sudden on the other side of the balcony. A lot is just done with random loveless backgrounds and sprites with different faces. A general problem is the lack of love in the images. Zero love for details, zero post production. And then I though the game is now one year old, let's just check the latest update.
First image Liam has 6 fingers. The teacher is levitating on a invisible chair while his actual chair is next to him.
The sex pictures are not that terrible but for the scenes not enough. It's way to short and again no love for details. It's just showing holes -> fuck -> fuck -> cumshot.

NTS:
A positive thing is that the love route is not cut short. So it's like do NTS or you miss half of the game. I like that the scenes are the same but just different. On the love route Liam fucks Ava and on the NTS route they swing. That's really good. But because of the whole "story" thing the game feels more like an NTS game. And the NTS is very poorly implemented. It's not like what you expect how a couple turn into that direction it's more like they stumble into the opportunity and that Ava doesn't say anything before MC makes the decisions makes it so wrong. So the core of NTS, the communication and all that is chat over phone where Ava says that she liked the experience but it's because MC was there and that she loves MC.

Conclusion:
The game only really works if you leave out the NTS choices with other guys. Play it as a harem game and imagine that your gf is a cuckqueen and do all the NTS choices with other women.

AI art in a game is fine. Not everyone is an artist or can afford to pay for one but still may have a good idea / sexy story to tell.

The issue with this one is that it is AI art with what feels like almost completely AI generated writing.

It is effectively a fully AI generated story with AI art. There are not really any choices either.

Comparisons are odious, but considering the quality of some AI games we have here, this is a poor example of inexperience or laziness.
The plot and characters move too quickly, there's no real development of personality, relationships, or corruption. The tempo is poor, and the events are poorly curated and elaborate.

The AI art is very basic, and either they don't have or haven't bothered to tweak it; it basically relies on uploading the image.

If this is your first game and you're a beginner, it's a good place to start trying things out and learning more, but as a game, it's mediocre at best.

I'm really looking forward for the whole game and what ideas dev is having for the future.

Game has a good start, a grounded plot that at least isn't some 'half-fantasy, half-urban mystery story' crap observed in similar games, and while there are some pacing issues to be addressed and visuals to fix, it deserves 4/5 as a credit for initial effort.

Normally with art, I say "what you see in the previews is what you get, my opinion won't add much" but you might not realize from previews just how distractingly close up a lot of shots are. Your whole monitor consumed by really in-your-face expression shots all the time, it's a bit much.
The sound is not good, but simply mute it and listen to whatever you want.

In the writing, it's grammatically and structurally sound, but painfully bland. It doesn't feel like anyone really cared about any character, plot point, or arc, just words to fill space as a vehicle to get to the ero, and the ero is nothing special.

A very solid NTS game, where every character have their own lives and not 1 of them is a comically center of the world.

+ Charming characters.
+ Tight narrative:
+ Hot, and surprisingly unpredictable sex-scenes.
+ A lot of content for just 4 releases. I played it over 2-3 days.

- Author seems not super proficient with AI for now.
- Voices and sounds are just bad.

slow start, would like to see more flow in the phot sessions getting more involved with ava before expanding more naturally with chloe and emma. but solid start, AI is a bit jank but its good enough writing is a bit verbose but otherwise pretty good.

Great artwork that makes each girl attractive in their own way. It's a standard visual novel with a view different choices and the game makes it clear as to how specific path can play out.
I only wish that the story went in a different direction - it seems like it leans towards one of the girls, Maya, in the early scenes, but then the other girls take over the MCs attention after that.

This game definitely has the potential to be a 5. The artwork is pretty meh, being typical AI artwork with okay quality but piss poor consistency, particularly when it comes to body proportions (breast size being the worst offender). Everything else about the game is very high quality, however, great plot, great writing, likeable characters, good porn scenarios, scenes are hot, etc. The only issue with the sex scenes and character development is that the game is still too early to have much variety or development, so if the game were to be abandoned today I would say it absolutely isn't worth playing, because it is too short and doesn't really go anywhere. But the setup looks great and as long as the developer doesn't drop the ball hard this will definitely be worth playing in the future.

The great NTS game is getting better and better with every update.
1) An interesting story that picks up pace pretty quickly.
2)Beautiful characters, especially the girlfriend (Futaba Sakura)
3) The main complaint is that there are too many close-ups, but that's okay. 4)A good combination of fetishes (NTS , teasing, exhibitionism)
5)Added sounds of the environment and characters.

Very good start, dev! The gf at least it is not the usual busty lady with big tits and big ass. The fact you can shape the story with choices and potentially have different paths is a plus. Can't wait to have a gallery

Good prologue, likeable characters. The MC and FMC are both shy to begin with, and both reveal their wild sides in the course of the prologue.

The AI art is sexy and consistent, can't ask for more. Can't wait for the "real story" to begin. One more star to award later, if Liam succeeds in blending his extremes and becomes a stout fellow who keeps giving his Ava the loving she deserves, while also enjoying her adventurous side. Extra star (if that were possible) if Ava reveals she wasn't joking when she dared Liam to cum on Maya's tits, and also enjoys seeing him dominating other girls. Such possibilities.

What the? The forum does not at all do it justice with those pictures. This game is amazing!! I haven't felt this from a game in a damn super long time, please continue the game dev! It's high quality


(reviews below me hate AI, and treat this game writing like the worst thing ever, when the writing isn't robotic at all compared to other AI games, in fact it's writing semented itself as pretty good in the ai games category, there's games with robotic writing that deserve the 1 stars)

Let's get into this.

After playing the games this game is trying to imitate, I feel a bit let down. There is barely any story to delve into, it's just pretty generic smut. I feel like way too many characters got introduced right at the get-go. There's barely any relationship building and instead you have a shy MC who suddenly gets down and dirty with LI's. No buildup and it seems like there's no point in building out a story. If this is the direction the game is heading into, it would've been better to make it 1 chapter and call it completed.

Too many mistakes in the art. I know AI is a tool to generate images, but c'mon man, spend some time doing quality control on the images. You just generate shit and put it in the game. No custom scene creation, just prompt and paste... It's games like this that bring a bad reputation on the entire AI genre of games.

I'm not even gonna talk about the girl with the tattoos, who seem to swap places and become completely random every render + her outfit also swaps every render... like c'mon...

I think the dev jumped into creating a game a bit too soon with seeing some of the success of the others. Also the AI art style seems very bland, it's too smooth, barely any shading or stylization which just makes it look bad.

I hope it improves and the dev learns from this, but I am not hopeful.

I don’t really rate new releases 1 star, but i just don’t see anything salvageable here if dev doesn’t create the game from scratch.

I am not going to talk much about AI art and NTS genre, most know how inflated the market is right now. It can still be interesting as long as you create something unique. But this game is as bland as it gets.

Visual: Incredibly inconsistent. Like there is a scene where a girl wearing a necklace and the necklace changes shape in every single picture. Sometimes it disappears, sometimes it is there again. Backgrounds disolve and appear out of thin air. Sometimes there is no background. 6 fingers problem, inconsistent faces. There was literally zero time spent with editing. Dev simply copy pasted images directly from ai.

Story: For the initial release there is plenty to read, but story moves even faster. Before building any type of relationships MC is having sex with LIs. Dev introduces almost 10 characters and expects to build the story and characters in approximately 20-30 minutes.


I just don’t see this game going anywhere. Even if dev edits renders from the beginning (Which should take a really long time since they need a lot of work), the story needs shifts too since things don’t make much sense because everything is happening too fast.
