... now i want to buy a pc .... it will get better

3940 x 2160 = 8,294,400 pixels. That's a lot of pixels with a not-so-fast GPU (40 minutes is actually suprisingly decent for a laptop 2060). Even worse? A not-so-fast GPU in a laptop. It's likely throttling due to heat, if not falling back to the CPU. RAM and Storage aren't going to be playing a huge role here.

That Orion is pretty. . .lackluster for $1800. I'm sure you could find something better, even in the prebuilt market, for that price. You'd definitely be getting more value if you built one yourself, though.

Because the render setting is set with low values and/or the scene is simplistic.

An averagely complex scene, not optimized, and rendered on a 2070 at 1920x1080 take around 15 minutes. So, for four time more pixels, 40 minutes is fast. Usually people start to complain when their scene take more than hour to be rendered.

And please don't yell so early in the morning, thanks.

Laptop + 2060. and is it a true 2060 or one of the mobile 2060's? my desktop 3090 will take well over that at that resolution depending on how the scene is set up

It's obviously a laptop 2060, seeing as they're as using a laptop (that's quite thick, but not enough for a desktop-class GPU) and made no mention of an eGPU.

my desktop 3090 will take well over that at that resolution depending on how the scene is set up
While I'm under the assumption that OP is rendering simpler scenes to get 40 minutes on a laptop GPU, there's no reason a desktop-variant 3090 should be taking any longer than 30 minutes for more complex scenes seeing as my 3080 can kick out a 4K at 7000 iterations in 35-40 minutes itself. May want to look at your render and fallback settings if a 3090 is taking that long to get a render done.

Most of time your render time is crap because you wanted to simulate 'real life' - or build upon those lines.
You're not alone, I fall for it too :WeSmart:.

Don't.
All renders are more or less hidden lies.
We are doing cinema \o/ :
