Hello Everyone! My name is MrSpunkyPants and I am currently developing an Adult Visual Novel in Ren'py named Blood Petals.

MC (named by player) is a Private Investigator with many personal issues. He is a war veteran with ptsd, alcoholism, uses drugs, and is addicted to sex. He spends his time finding evidence of cheating spouses and flirting with his sexy assistant Eva. When a wealthy woman comes to him because she believes her husband is having an affair, MC has no idea a simple sounding case will get him wrapped up with corrupt politicians and police, gangsters, murderers, and secret societies.

I plan on releasing the first version in early December 2020 and it will always be free!

Current Features

• Sex is fairly vanilla but planned lewd scenes include: Oral Sex, Anal Sex, Exhibitionism, Voyeurism, Teasing, Masturbation, MILF, Group Sex, Lesbian and Straight with more to come!
• Animated lewd scenes
• Current version the story is kinetic

Planned Features

• Deep branching story
• Collectible special renders
• Possibly episodic content once current story line ends.

edit: unfortunately I've had to downscale my animations to 1080 because of some issues with ren'py and 4k. oh well.

Ren'py always seemed a bit complex to work with, but based on your story idea and renders, it sounds like you have a wonderful idea, scaling shouldn't factor too much in a game, and if you were looking for ways around that, you could include secret zip files with password you unlock ingame. Looking forward to seeing more from you!

First version of the game is out! The story has changed a bit since I first posted this here.
The MC is no longer a PI as I felt that was too similar to some other VNs. Because of that change I had to change a lot of the story. I plan to release updates often and they will be much more substantial than the first release. I have been getting some good responses to the game but also quite a bit of negative. Some of the negative comments I do view as valid and plan to at least try to fix some of the issues in the next release along with the added content.
