Long-time lurker, musician and writer, amateur coder (python). Looking to get into making something but at a loss on how to start.
Music for the curious:
Mostly symphonic metal or some kind of fusion metal with electronic elements. Some soundtrack stuff, too.
I would love any recommendations on programs to use for 2D images or 3D models for games. I was thinking of using RenPy, too. Thoughts?
Also, how do you work on a game and keep it secret? For reasons.
