I'm still a new user to daz, only using it for the models.
I keep having this issue with daz and one of its features. if you click on the Eye icon to control what is visable, the program does what it is supposed to do. But if you click and drag the Eye icon, instead the program selects all thing between the object you originally have selected, and the object you were attempting to toggle visibility. I don't know what this feature is called.
I'm sure it is a nice and convenient feature, and from what I can tell there is no other way to mimic this behavior if I do need it in the future, but for now I hate it. I have a high DPS mouse at a very high polling rate, and an overclocked 165hz monitor. As a result, it is super frustrating trying to quickly compare outfits, because my mouse is able to detect the subtle vibrations of the mouse click. so instead of toggling visibility, I end up highlighting a bunch of crap. I consider my self a non casual gamer, so I figure I have pretty good mouse stability, but dispite all my testing, I basically have to lift my mouse every time I want to toggle an item's visibility.
I have tried figuring out if there is a setting for this feature, but I guess I don't know the right name to google it by, so I can't find anything.
I mostly use blender, and despite its movement to a more standardized control system, and my experience with a range of program, I always customize the controls to my own personal format. Daz seems to be the only program I have found that fights me on this.
does anyone know where to look more into customizing hotkeys, features, modes, mouse control?
~ thanks
