I hope somebody has better memory than me!! What I remember: an RPG, female protagonist corruption game. At the beginning you are with your best friend, a male companion, you discover something evil, and you are forced to leave your town with your companion (perhaps on a boat??). Travelling to the what is going to be the main city, there are two paths, on one you get separated of your companion and on the other other you don't.
