First of all, sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. I'm not sure where the right place is, but this seems like the best.
So this is going to be a weird, stupid, and maybe impossible request/ask, but I'm looking for someone who has been collecting animations and hasn't touched the file names of them so I can compare them with my files and see which animator they belong to.
I started collecting animations recently and stupidly thought I should put the ones I would watch most, aka the ones that are 1min or more, into a seperate folder away from their animators folder. So all the animations that are 1 min or longer were in a folder and I kept the other animations that were shorter in a folder with their animators names.
Now I have 1905 videos that are just in a folder named "noidea" and no idea which animators they belong to. I could go through 1 by 1 to see if there's a watermark but that's going to take ages and I'm still going to be left with some that don't have a watermark.
I could also just redownload everything but that's also going to take a while and waste traffic.
So I thought of a better way. Ask if someone has been stockpiling and request for them if they are willing and have the know how (python scripting can make it easier I would wager), to make a list of their animations and folders that they are in which presumably would be the animators names folder. And then I'll compare to to my list of files and sort them out.
Again, I know its a stupid and weird request, but if anyone is willing to help, I'd appreciate it.
