The butt on my daz 8, 8.1 and 9 looks like this now? It's been a minute but I don't recall it being like this prior. No morphs the default assets when I checked. What do I do to get this fixed? I have glute cont, SL, and a couple others but it doesn't really work to correct the nothingness in the crease. help2.png help1.png rol,

Mate thats Japanese invading with theyr censorship.

Jokes aside soz no idea.

If things go south, try doing all from scratch, reininstall, reinmport stock. If that doesn't work, maybe you missed some instructions.

Good luck

It looks like something intended to smooth out the crack, like the SY DeCrackifier for Genesis 8. But that's not supposed to apply to the figure.

Check what morphs you have installed.

Weird deformities often occur due to rogue morphs, made worse that they aren't always visible in the standard parameters pane. Follow the image below (which is basically hamburger menu with a play button > Preferences > Show Hidden Properties):

From there, go to "Currently Used" with the figure selected. It'll be easier if you don't have a bunch of stuff loaded, but try playing with the sliders there to see if it helps. You might be able to narrow it down by searching for "Glutes", but I'd still check through the non-obvious ones (e.g. no need to check the head or foot sliders, really.) as many Daz vendors aren't native English speakers and can tend to label things weirdly.

It wasn't that. I still don't know what it is. I have an old save of my non daz assets from a couple months back and that has corrected the issue.

I am going to delete my newer folder and slowly add back new things I got one by one. I fucking hate daz, but I think I should be good to go. Thank you!

One small additional point: this sort of issue is far more common on daz assets that come from outside the official store. Like from the 3rd party stores or direct from vendor. It's basically some morph that got included wrongly when a package was made, or somehow has asset applicable pathing that triggers bugs and is always applied to new characters.

The Daz team do a lot of things that sometimes seem to be not ideal for users*, but having reasonably good quality control is one thing they do well.

*: I think the reality of the business that Daz run must be very difficult to stay out of bankruptcy
- they have a very complicated app with lots of legacy code.
- they have a constantly moving target to keep up with for the Iray integration.
- they make their money off selling assets to "artists" (3d custom porn gooners) but there are multiple huge pirate focused websites that immediately copy and resell all their products

It is not surprising to me that they cannot afford to have lots of skilled programmers fixing up issues / adding new functions. So they just do the best they can to keep the app mostly working and occasionally add new kind-of-useful things.
