It's otherwise a pretty standard kidnapped hero girl story where evil science man throws the protag into some machines to corrupt her but near the end he explains that her special suit is acting on her subconscious and is trying to corrupt her too so it turns into a tentacle suit and starts edging her. Then the bad guy stick a helmet on her that makes her perceive the whole experience as taking place over years.
