Interesting, I like that idea, I really liked Shani's character since her first appearance and a part of me has faith that you do something with her and not have to wait until the end to see her in action haha, i don't know if you plan to make her fall into the hands of the antagonists and their men, but it would be interesting to see how she reacts to everything that is happening with Leto.
I think I said it a while ago, but honestly I see a little more chemistry between Shani and Leto than with Rose, it's also because Rose since a couple of updates ago she stopped caring about Leto and only focuses on the tower issue and satiate her own lust haha, at least that's my opinion, don't hate me please
I mean, the two last beach updates where mostly about Rose's relationship with Leto though. Best I've gotten it so far. Getting men not to look either like musclebound freaks or androgynous creeps (I did it for the rhyme, sue me), is a challenge. Hope you don't mind the fanart N_Taii.

Yo N_taii, i noticed something truly, TRULY awful that requires your immediate attention!
You know how you've been posting a few spoiler(-y) animations every now and then for some of the PoLs ? Well, you see...I just realised that today's PoL, the PoL that you're about to post in like 3 hours or so, will most likely be the very last PoL before Update20 is out, and all throughout the entire development of this Update, you have not posted a single animation for the upcoming Haylen scenes.
Fix it, or else.
ps.: please release the Update before Friday! <3

Unfortunately, based on my observations, people are more likely to support you if you push out quick updates rather than with longer, more qualitative updates. That's just how it is.
That doesn't mean I'm considering dropping the quality, simply reducing the amount of content slightly and cutting a few unnecessary corners during the story. Also, make better use of the already existing maps rather than creating new ones.
Don't worry, I like 'em fanarts, so you can keep them coming^^ Rose is looking pretty good I must say, especially in the second image. I'm not sure why the AI is trying to make her into an elf in the first one. The Duke's clothes are looking pretty similar though, I'm impressed.
Good idea! I'll try to post some animations. The issue is that a lot of them have some elements to them that might spoil the story. Or they have Haylen's new dress. It's not revolutionary or anything, but I'd rather keep it a surprise.
I can't say about the update. It's definitely going to be out this week, but Friday is looking a bit complicated. I'm in the middle of the last scene, and then I need to test the extra scene + this one, which might take some time. Also, freeroams have become so complex they almost take a whole day to complete.
It's not helping that the main artist had to take a step back from HC3 for the past week and this one to focus on other projects, and the other artists, while talented, aren't as fast or reliable. Hell, one of them is an entire week late on a commission, and he's been radio silent so far. I hope I'll be receiving everything I need in the next 7 days or so. Wait and see, I guess.

Haha yeah it is, I used a detailer based on the Legend of Zelda because I thought it made her hair look more like what I imagined it, but it kept bleeding into her ears, so I might return to the more neutral style of the second picture. Could work for Haylen though...

Proof of Life #274: Last PoL before the new update + some upcoming animations
Heya, you fancy bipedals, how is it going in this fine morning/afternoon/evening? Sit tight and grab a snack, because I've got some news for ya!
Well, the biggest of them all is in the title. The new update will definitely be out in about 5 to 7 days. I'm currently almost finished with the last scene, and then there will be some testing to do, and I'll be done with the main content. After that, I'll need to add 4 freeroams (2 Haylen, 1 Rose, 1 Cyanna), and some extra misc. stuff, and I'll be finally done.
However, I'm a bit behind on schedule when it comes to commissions, as I'm waiting on a few that have yet to arrive, and have even more to give out yet. The main artist will be busy on other projects and he doesn't have as much time to work on HC3 this week, so I hope I can rely on other artists to take over his tasks before the end of the week. I'll keep you guys updated.
I've been asked to add some of the animations for the upcoming update, so here they are: the first one is for the first scene (a bit sped-up, it'll be slower in-game), the second one for the second scene, and the one with Naevyr is part of the extra scene. I've tried to find animations that were as spoiler-free as possible.
Update 20 will have some twists and turns here and there, and I'm a bit apprehensive about how you guys will react to them, but apart from that, I'm pretty confident in its overall quality.
I think that's about it for this PoL! I'll see you guys for the first release of the new update. Don't forget it will be an entirely new project, so you'll have to start a new game which will take you right after the events of the last update (more on this here:

any plans to ever go back to the original game and expand on it? like doing a remake or somethin? (i dont know why i chose to treply to this with the question instead of just posting)

"Last PoL before the new Update" definitely means that the Update will be out before next Monday, which is tomorrow, so yes, the Update's supposed to come out today.
Although N_Taii did say this when i asked whether the Update will be out by Friday or not so there's a chance that he's still waiting on commissions:
