It doesn't matter if he likes the game or not. It's just this is a big game and if it got to the point where I wasn't enjoying it anymore I would have stopped playing by now. I'd be curious why someone continued playing despite loss of enjoyment on it (presuming that they don't like the game).
well its simple, if i play a game, watch a tv series for some long time update by update, episode by episode, and made it up to 80% of it, even if now i feel i don't enjoy it, i can't drop it tho to a certain «at least lets see how the ending will be».
its simple man, seriously i hate that people always come up with «well don't play the game if you don't like it» when they see a different opinion than the one they have in mind.
not everyone will have the same opinion you have bro.

Like I said, it's personal preference. What I think is interesting is that many people, yourself included probably, have enjoyed fiction where a character in that story has done far worse that anything any of the women in this story has done, but you've forgiven the characters.

As an example, Vegeta in Dragon Ball Z. The guy has done multiple genocides , yet he's a fan favourite character that many people would see as someone who has redeemed themselves.
the example you gave is so different from this one right here, but i get your point.
but since i always, unfortunately put myself in the shoes of the mc of any story, game, or movie i see, i can't see how you can forgive such a betreyal by the one you love truly, at least not without a serious confrontation.
and keep this in mind,
forgiveness is an act of kindness, it won't wash the past or the cruel things a human did, it only gives them a chance to be better from now on.
no betreyal or cruelty can be justified.

I get what you're saying. Maybe I'm just jaded from people who hate NTR coming into threads of NTR games/stories to complain about the cheating and betrayal, so I sometimes wonder why people bother putting themselves through it if they hate it so much.

Personally, I've had no problem dropping something if I start to dislike how it's going, no matter how much I'm invested in it. I didn't finish the last season of Game of Thrones because of the nosedive in quality. But I get how some people want to know how something ends once they've started, even if they stop liking it.

"not everyone will have the same opinion you have bro." Am I here saying everyone's opinion is wrong?

Yeah, it's different. Infidelity is painful and horrible but it's not genocide. We would have no trouble agreeing which is worse.

Pretty much everyone puts themselves in the shoes of the protagonist in a story. That's kinda standard but much of this story is also told directly from the women's perspective, so I put myself in their shoes as well.

And who says forgiveness should come without a confrontation and apologies and work to get through it? I never said that.

I can understand that some people would never in a million years be able to forgive these characters, but you seem incapable of seeing where I'm coming from.

For as much as you express my right to an opinion, you're talking like there's something wrong with me because I don't feel the same way as you about it. It's probably not intentional, but it's how it comes across to me.

you said it yourself «your jaded from people who hate ntr etc»
thats why you probably talk like anyone should absolutely love ntr and if they don't,they should drop the game and never play it again cause they complain about the story becoming bleak., at least thats what i got the first time i read your message.
it might be strange and you wont probably believe it but, i don't fap to this game, i can't fap to this game cause there is too much pain involved.
i sometimes read ntr stories because i like that confrontation scene if its done well, or the revenge at the end,i don'tread or play games that don't give me the option to revenge or have a semi happy end at the end. people can enjoy things from different ways, just like how we have so many kinks.

as for your second part of message, no i do see where your coming from and that speech i gave about forgiveness being an act of kindness was just a fact, not that i said you don't know it or you said otherwise.
anything i say is only my personal opinion and i never said im incapable of understanding why you can forgive them, you do you lad, i just told you that you have a very strong heart, wasnt it a compliment?

«you're talking like there's something wrong with me because I don't feel the same way as you about it.»
i do say sorry if you took it this way, but i fail to see why you took my words like an insult, i thought we are having a very chill conversation really, no hard feelings and i didn't insult the way you like to play games or why do you like this or that.
again i was just chatting normally, it was an exchange of opinions for me, you said yours, i said mine, and we are cool.
never said you're wierd or anything.

it didn't reply to your message so i sent it again.

Nah, I really think your take is way too simplified. Sure, in the most basic, lazy NTR stories, every woman drops her morals instantly for the favorite dick, no matter the situation. But that kind of writing has zero emotional weight. The heroines become empty caricatures, the husband magically turns into a cuck, and nothing hits on a deeper level.

N_taii has already said he is not going for that kind of story. No brainwashing, no instant collapses, no easy "just ride dick" paths. If a heroine gives in, it is because she convinces herself it is the best choice at that moment, even knowing the sex is only temporary comfort. That creates long-term consequences, regret, and self-destruction, which is way more interesting than everyone folding in five seconds.

And saying all the HC women are "too far gone" feels like ignoring the potential complexity. Realistically, people in much milder situations split up or break down all the time. One look at real-life cheating stories and you see couples fall apart over rumors or emotional betrayal alone. So acting like these girls would shrug off everything and keep spreading their legs no matter what is not only predictable, it also removes all the dramatic tension.

What I want to see is actually meaningful conflict and consequences. Haylen being outraged then immediately folding is low-tier writing. A better angle is her rationalizing that she is helping Leto, only to crumble when she learns the truth. Rose discovering that her sacrifices actually harmed Leto is way more powerful than her mindlessly jumping on the Duke the second he explains the Peacekeeper. Cyanna dealing with guilt or choosing betrayal consciously is more engaging than acting like she stopped caring a long time ago.

HC3 has room for real emotional impact. Whether through betrayal, regret, healing, or revenge, there are dozens of routes that can hit much harder than "they all choose dick every time." If anything, predictable corruption kills the tension. Complex, conflicted heroines make the story actually memorable.

So yeah, I respect your view, but I think reducing all the girls to automatic dick-chasers misses what could make HC3 genuinely engaging.
Lol reducing all the girls to automatic dick-chasers is all on n taii. It doesn't matter how many talks you've had with him about it

I don't think anyone should love NTR as it's a genre that is an acquired taste. It's just a bit of a meme at this point for NTR haters to appear in threads about NTR games to complain about the cheating and betrayal, which is the very essence of what the NTR genre is about.

I don't even think the original person I was responding to was one of those people anyway.

I totally get the frustration with the pacing, Oriandu, you're spot on about how the update-by-update format has buried the main plot under endless corruption beats, making Leto seem like a clueless idiot even though he's not written that way. It's a classic side-effect of writing the story as he goes, something N_taii has openly acknowledged in private conversations with me. The big reveals are spaced out by months of H-scenes, the narrative momentum stalls, and Leto’s early competence ends up feeling wasted. Part 2 being a brand-new project (because of the RPG Maker map limit) should finally let him tie everything together without that way, but right now it definitely hurts.

Where I push back hard, though, is the idea that the girls are irredeemable or have become “as bad as the men”. N_taii has been extremely consistent, both in public PoLs and in the long private exchanges we’ve had, that he refuses the lazy “sex = instant happy slut” route. These women are not gleefully evil; they are drowning in rationalisations built on manipulation, guilt, and supposed “greater goods”, and the guilt is still there under the surface.

Rose isn’t turning cruel because she enjoys it; she’s trapped in a duty-versus-love nightmare, handing over an amulet she doesn't knows is fake because the Duke convinced her it’s the only way to keep the Peacekeepers running and protect her people (and Leto). She doesn’t love the Duke; she’s been psychologically cornered, and the moment the full truth drops, that house of cards collapses.

Cyanna isn’t “justifying evil” out of some moral void; Ulrod is weaponising the childhood guilt she still carries over the fact that he lost part of his life saving her. He’s become the one place her constant self-doubt can quiet down, so she clings to the pleasure as a coping mechanism, not because she’s proud of it. She still loves Leto and is deliberately hiding Rose’s cheating from him because she can’t bear to hurt him.

Haylen’s fall is pure maternal trauma: she sees orphan Jazon as another Leto and is desperate to keep him from going dark. He’s twisting that instinct into “let’s start a new family together”. The second she realises he’s the one blackmailing her protégées and spying for the Duke, it’s going to destroy her.

Even Lily, the least corrupted, is only chasing money because Nezar keeps blocking every independent path she tries to take, and she’s painfully aware she feels “inferior” next to the others; her upcoming confession to Leto is proof she hasn’t let go of him at all.

A genuine, non-forced happy ending is absolutely still on the table, and it’s exactly what N_taii is aiming for: Leto finally learns everything, there are brutal confrontations (no sugar-coating, no graphic play-by-play of the acts, just the raw facts), the girls break down, explanations and tears flow, and then the player decides who deserves forgiveness. There will be no “everyone pretends nothing happened” lie; Leto will know the full betrayals, and any reconciliation will have to be earned through time and regret. I think that a selective harem is very likely (Lily and Cyanna almost guaranteed, Rose and Haylen much harder and choice-dependent), and Leto will be far more proactive than Noah ever was.

I really wish the revenge route to finally put Leto in the driver’s seat: Jazon on his knees begging, the Duke’s bigger scheme blowing up in his face, Ulrod exposed for the monster he is. No external puppet-master like Mórë this time.

No, I’m not blind to how bleak it feels right now, and the wait has absolutely been painful. But everything N_taii has told me privately, plus the way the choice system and corruption flags are structured, points toward genuine emotional payoff and catharsis, not the “everyone becomes a happy whore and Leto just shrugs” scenario that a lot of us dread (and that only the most hardcore, humiliation-focused NTR purists are actually rooting for).

Here’s hoping the Lily wrap-up (dropping any day now) and the big Haylen update finally start turning those promises into reality.

Lilly's upcoming confession?

I like her character, she's well written and has a great corruption storyline. There's no NTR and I'm fine with that, she's more of an interesting side story.

Hi guys been playing this game since the last update of 19? Is there any difference between part 1 and part 2? Or its ending?

Part 2 just continues the game, the game had to be split due to RPGM engine limitations.

It's not the ending yet, that's still a number of updates away.

You're giving the women far too much credit. Having reasons for turning bad does not negate the turn.

Saying Rose isn't turning cruel because she enjoys it does not change the simple fact that she has turned cruel. No one put her up to wanting to rape the beach house groundskeeper. That was a choice she made on her own. No one forced her to start treating the maids like tools for her own lust, no one forced her to willingly reject Leto in favour of sex with other people. The fact of the matter is that she was put in a situation she didn't want to be in, she adapted to that situation, and she's now taking advantage of that situation. The duke isn't lying about how he's powering the peacekeepers, and when the truth comes out she'll willingly side with the duke because she has no faith in Leto. Rose may not be the villainous mastermind that the duke is, but she's well past the point of beginning to agree with how the duke does things and has started taking on some of his more vile traits.

Cyanna, however, is a villain of her own making. "She's being guilted" does not excuse the fact that she's aiding and abetting murder. She actively took part in an act that resulted in an extrajudicial killing and justified it, in a court of law she'd be going to prison. Guilt and self doubt don't excuse the fact that she's allowed things that she could have very easily told Ulrod to fuck off at any point over the course of this. At no point has her stakes been any higher than "I feel bad about myself."which just makes her a loser. Now she's actively aiding Rose in hiding her vile behaviour and her involvement in the duke's schemes and is, basically, taking part in them. She has completely and totally betrayed Leto, her oath as a member of the guard, and the kingdom itself. Nothing about what she's done is redeemable as her path to hell was not paved by good intentions, it was paved by being a complete and total spineless loser in every situation that mattered. Cyanna isn't as bad as Ulrod, she's worse.

Not going to really comment too much on Haylen as her corruption storyline is genuine nonsense. Haylen is only betraying herself, her faith, and her oaths. She's supported Jazon in committing some extremely heinous acts but she herself hasn't betrayed Leto, she's just completely debased herself and everything she stands for.

Lily is fine. She's completely betrayed who she is and has seemingly forgotten why she's done the things she's done, but her actions have had the last impact. The worst thing she's done is given Leto a kiss with dick on her breath.

The reason I say a good ending is impossible without it feeling contrived is because N_Taii has completely failed to set up a plausible good ending. Just as he did with HC1 and 2. Both those games relied on Deus Ex Machina to even have endings outside of bleak failure on the part of the heroes and, unfortunately, it looks like that's where things are headed here too. Not necessarily Deus Ex Machina, but an ending where happiness will feel like it was pulled out of nowhere because it will require forgiveness that is beyond reason. Leto has failed to act at every necessary juncture and has refused to take advantage of situations that would have allowed him to do good, Rose is corrupt beyond compare and is on the cusp of betraying her kingdom, Cyanna has committed criminal behaviours, Haylen has debased herself and everything she believed in, only Lily escapes due to how unimportant she is. A happy ending would have to ignore the fact that Rose would need to be deposed due to her betrayal of the nation, Cyanna would have to be imprisoned for aiding and abetting murder and treason, and Haylen would likely be a middle aged ex-nun with no life skills. The story for HC3 has been so absolutely one sided on the part of corruption, due in no small part to how little actual story the game has, that there's no framework for a happy ending.

as i said, the only imaginable non forced happy end right now with this story, is leto leaving everyone and everything and letting them burn themselves in lust, going to build his life far from anyone who betrayed him, and possibly with another, pure girl.
