The whole game no longer even looks like NTR, but more like three girls who’ve each found their man, who regularly sleep with them and build relationships. And our main character just walks around bothering everyone and getting in the way like some village idiot. It’s more Santa Barbara than a game at this point, dragged out so much that it stopped being appealing a long time ago. There were so many great suggestions in the comments on how to improve and finish the game...

Well yes, but that's because the corruption has happened. The game is sitting before the climax, before everything is revealed. The NTR will resume once the finale run begins.

I wouldn't say too much has happened so much as not enough plot happened.
i can't see the difference.
not enough plot leaded it to look like too much corruption has happened and a doll mc.
in other words: the main focus shifted to corruption more than the story, plot got forgotten, leto is nothing more than a walking villager at this point of the story.

The difference is that each of the women arrived where they should have in terms of corruption at the climax of the plot, there just hasn't really been enough plot development to match. The women have all more or less betrayed everything they once stood for and don't even realize how far they've fallen and in many ways they've cucked the women they should be nearly as badly as Rose has cucked her so called boyfriend. The problem isn't how corrupted the women are; the problem is that Leto didn't start learning anything about what the duke is actually up to until the very last minute.

Leto feels like a random villager because he's refused the call to action at basically every juncture. The duke made repeated attempts to upgrade Leto's social and professional status so he can be a useful pawn and while Leto's decisions to resist the duke's attempts to uplift him have been correct it means he's been kept as an observer instead of a participant. So when important things happen Leto isn't guarding something critical for the duke or taking part in guard activities that would give him a hint as to what is happening, he's in his apartment reading a book, or making a spiral emote as someone does something slutty in his general vicinity, or he's possibly even asleep. How corrupt the women are isn't the problem; the problem is Leto.

I call it NPC Syndrome, the main character is no longer a main character just a figure for us to see what is happening but they themselves no longer feel like they are really a part of the story. At this point in the game you could put any character here and the only difference would be its not Leto but it would still work because both are clueless to what's going on around them(I dont mean it in the sense that he has to know what the FMC's are doing but at least maybe have some more suspicion/doubts of them) or they don't try to figure out what's going on around them, just following the same NPC Cycle like a shop keeper or a guard patrolling. The endings will break the cycle for sure but that's to be expected.

I wonder if it's a matter of perspective. I'm someone who only started playing the game after update 22 came out, so I've been able to play it all the way through from the beginning to its current point all in one go.

I can see how progress might feel slow/stagnant if you're playing the game update to update. If a few updates go by that is mainly just more sex/corruption but nothing moving on the overarching plot, I can see how it might feel like nothing is happening to move the story along. But having played it through all at once, it doesn't feel like the plot is stagnant to me.

Also, as this is a fap game centered around corruption and NTR, I see the ongoing corruption of the women as an integral part of the plot as well.

Hey guys,

You know, I replayed HC3 tonight and Shila would make such a solid girlfriend for Leto

I’m pretty sure Shila hasn’t been touched by anyone yet (total virgin vibes), so if Leto ever decides he can’t forgive Rose & co., she’d be the perfect clean-slate partner: pure, fiercely loyal, zero baggage. That said, I’m still holding out hope for proper endings where Leto actually gets real choices: Rose route, Cyanna route, Lily, Helen, full harem… or just ditch them all for the perfect girl like Shila.

@N_taii Could you please give unique avatars to the important recurring female NPCs who spend a lot of time with Leto and clearly have romance potential (like Shila, Shana, and a couple others)? Right now they’re stuck with generic sprites, which makes them feel like side characters even though they’re super relevant. A real portrait for each would instantly make them feel like legitimate love interests and give them the same weight as the main girls.

Pretty please, they really deserve it!

Also, from the hints we’ve gotten, the Marquis was someone important to Shila, right? I’m dying to see the moment she finds out Cyanna was completely deceived by Ulrod and helped kill an innocent.

Well I think its supposed to be a person with a cape. But Lord Farquaad is better so I will go with that.
Of course it’s supposed to be a cape but Lord Farquaad stays winning.

Anyway, I’m really hoping Leto doesn’t find out about Rose through some random leak, but during the big ceremonial scene, where he’s sneaking around with Shila (and maybe a couple of the other loyal girls) spying on the Duck, Ulrod, Jazon and his uncle… and BAM, he sees everything with his own eyes. I need that moment when Rose finally notices him watching her in the act; the look on her face would be absolutely priceless, pure epic meltdown material!
