The hell you talking about? No one is paying f95 to prevent anyone from sharing links. It was shared immediately a few times in the past. It's people that respect that he needs the income to continue to develop this game. Get your conspiracy crap out of here.I don't understand is there mutual settlement between Ntaii or few other developers where dev pay to f9 so there new update links does not get pirated very early. i am not criticizing anyone here just wanted to say it is very bad for dev with low income gets there new update leaked very early. Like the game developer of inqel's game got leaked in just 2+ hours. that was a shame as he was just a begginer with not that high income per month. it really effects there project. meanwhile we have here some dev whose are having very good amount of income but there update are not leaking. if these dev are paying than it's ok of not than this is not right
I didn't said anyone is conspiring anything i just talked about some developers where there game does not get leaked and some dev it does. leaking doesn't not effect the big dev it effect the small dev as there most of income is generated on game updates. i am just against with game getting pirated very fast and i respect both ntaii and f9. just had this question so i asked. The hell you talking about? And how $4500 a month good income? That's lower than many entry level jobs, and definitely a lot more work. Not to mention Patreon takes a cut, and he needs to commission art/sound.
I don't think there's any agreement or settlement. It's just a matter of mutual respect between fans and devs, and a perception of incomes. For example; a solo dev only making income on their game through patreon but who hangs out on this forum and talks to the players is less likely to have their work ripped off than a studio cranking out games to sell on dlsite.I don't understand is there mutual settlement between Ntaii or few other developers where dev pay to f9 so there new update links does not get pirated very early. i am not criticizing anyone here just wanted to say it is very bad for dev with low income gets there new update leaked very early. Compared to Inqel Interactive's, it's good support, as I think it shouldn't go over $400 on PatreonThe hell you talking about? No one is paying f95 to prevent anyone from sharing links. I bet the dev justs dmed the leakers to please stop. It still gets leaked pretty often. But most people arent assholes and will stop or remove their post if asked. I think is more a mentality of wanting to be the "hero"=, and not outright malicious.I don't understand is there mutual settlement between Ntaii or few other developers where dev pay to f9 so there new update links does not get pirated very early. i am not criticizing anyone here just wanted to say it is very bad for dev with low income gets there new update leaked very early. Damn, we got found out! I do actually pay protection money to big, burly men who come knock on my door every month representing the f95 mafia. If I don't, they said they'll hurt my family. I'm scared, they keep asking for more, and I haven't been able to make the last payment...I don't understand is there mutual settlement between Ntaii or few other developers where dev pay to f9 so there new update links does not get pirated very early. i am not criticizing anyone here just wanted to say it is very bad for dev with low income gets there new update leaked very early. I do indeed DM the person who leaked, and they most often very politely agree not to do it again. As you said, nobody does it with malicious intent. A lot of them see themselves as some kind of Robin Hood stealing from the rich, greedy dev to give back to the poor F95 users, while most often they take from devs who need the money to leak it to impatient people, because the update is going to go public anyway at some point.I bet the dev justs dmed the leakers to please stop. Weird questions, I know, but how did your journey with game development begin? Do you have other programmers or artists who help you with your projects? Where did you find them? Were they with you when you were creating your first project? How did you promote your first game and Patreon? What programming language do you use with RPGM, and are you planning to incorporate new technologies in the future?Damn, we got found out! It's not like I sit on a ton of gold to buy my next ferrari anyway. A lot of the money is either re-invested into the game directly, or is waiting to be re-invested massively into improving the next game, so each $ counts. Also, it doesn't help that in my main country of residence, my current income is far below the median income, and everything is expensive as heck.^^
Those are perfectly valid questions, not weird at all. What would have been weird is if you'd asked me if I like to rub melted butter all over myself before I start working, which I don't, but still, would have been weird to ask...Weird questions, I know, but how did your journey with game development begin? I ask because I myself want to become a game developer in the future, and while creating my "portfolio" in C++, my biggest issue is finding free assets that would stand out in some way. "Regular folks" are unlikely to let such a newbie into their project to help and gain experience working with artists, music composers, and other programmers.
So for now, i'm doing almost all myself while making my first game for my first gamejam.
Damn bro, I was hesitant to buy the Patreon membership at first cause the 9th Update would come out for free eventually but that singular reply made me subscribe instantly Having a dedicated Dev with a strong work ethic that also loves his work AND is happy to help others chasing that passion in the NTR community is a true Blessing. Anyway! I can see you're not very familiar with the way RPGMaker works, and I might not be the best person to ask about programming or language, because I don't do any programming at all. That's the thing with RPGMaker, everything's pre-programmed, and you have to select from a menu what you want (add condition, character move left, right, etc...), like this:

That makes it very easy to grasp, and I didn't really need help from other devs. I watched a few videos here and there, then started with HC1 right away and learned the rest while developing. I started it because I really liked another game by a Japanese dev, but he disappeared suddenly one day, so I decided to pick up the slack and do a similar game, telling myself "how hard can it be". It was hard, but fun as well, so I kept going.
I do have plenty of artists helping me with the game, from one at the beginning to up to 4 at a time now, but I'm also making plenty use of the free assets that come with buying the game + there's a good community providing free assets as well.
I didn't do much promotion besides here on F95. I've noticed that the amount of work/yield ratio is the best on here, the other websites aren't really worth the hassle. I did a few cross-promotions here and there, but it didn't yield anything, but that's probably due to how tightly-knit the NTR community is, so most games that deal with this fetish are already known by most within it.
That's about all I can tell you. Do I plan to incorporate new technologies? Maybe. Depends on the technology. There's already a more recent version of RPGMaker that's been out there for years, but I've held off using it because it doesn't quite have the same level of customization and community-made plugins the current version I'm using has.
There, hope it helped a little bit : )

it does look a lot like herWell, I was bored playing with the AI when this character came out, I saved him because he looks a bit like Haylen.
I don't know if you are in favor of the use of AI here, but since I'm going to delete the image anyway, I'll publish it here so my 5 hours of boredom won't be lost so fast hahaha.
P.S: As I did it with a free Telegram IA, it doesn't have the best resolution in the world.
