    Review based on v1.05b (online version):

    Synopsis: - Main Hero goes on adventure through different locations and must resist the charms of several ladies who are trying to tempt and corrupt him with various sexual addictions. Will you give into the temptation of corruption or will you have the strength and resolve to remain clear-headed?


    The Good:
    + Model selection is great (somewhere around 40 different models used) and the variety of fetishes will cater to most tastes
    + Visual material is of good quality with high res pics
    + The writing of the dialogues (if anyone reads those) is quite good, which makes the interactions interesting and different
    + The game can be addictive if you are into beating the challenge and getting to final round of Castle and smashing all the bosses there
    + Game offers audio effects for various encounters which helps with immersive experience (however, there's no option or settings to turn it off, so if you don't want to hear them you need to mute the browser tab)

    The Neutral:
    = Game concept - aside from fighting in encounters, there's a little bit of puzzle-solving involved where player needs to figure out how to put pieces of the map together. Some might find it interesting and challenging, the others not so much since game doesn't really provide clear directions/hints about the end goal and steps along the way, so it involves some trial-n-error approach
    = Game mechanics (for the most part) are well designed - there's a bit of dice-rolling, game of chance (random encounters) and stat-based strategy involved. Once you understand what you're supposed to do and the best way to go about it the game becomes easier. On the downside, there are some timed events and some random de-buffs (even if you win the encounter) that don't make sense and are annoying
    = Missing visual material - during some encounters the player gets blank white or black screens and it's unclear whether it's intentional or if there should be video playing or something else

    The Bad:
    - Lack of direction - right from the start the game fails to explain what exactly you're supposed to do, how the game mechanics work during encounters, etc. Some of that info can be found in the Codex but you only get access to it on game Day 2 (!) and clicking through it is an onerous process. All this results in quite frustrating experience right from the beginning
    - The UI - (for the most part) is fine during encounters, but it's annoying that player constantly needs to open the Codex to check his Corruption/Addictions stats - those should be permanently displayed on-screen as they are important when making game decisions. Also, the way text advances during encounters is inconsistent - sometimes it happens automatically, other times need to be advanced manually
    - Memory consumption - while playing the game on browser with only one tab open it consumes up to 1 GB of RAM (sometimes even more than that), which is a lot for Java game. Perhaps this can be somewhat optimized
    - The grind - the game is designed for repeating several cycles of 14 game days and building up stats to face tougher enemies. In the best case scenario the player will require at least 5 cycles before he can try entering the Castle and that is assuming there are no Bad Endings or other misfortunes along the way


    The Verdict:
    I like the variety and the challenges it presents, so I'd give it solid 3.5* for an interesting gameplay experience. However, you'll need to get past a steep learning curve and some frustrating experience at the very beginning when trying to figure things out. Some of these things can (and should) be addressed and fixed though, or many players might drop it early. If those get fixed in the final version, I'm willing to bump the score higher.
    It's addictive, so I'd recommend checking it out and trying your luck on this adventure, but be warned - it will test your patience!
    P.S. The Offline version seems to be working for some and not for others (myself included), so probably the best bet is to play the online version.

    Revised review for Hero Corruption 2 v0.60c.

    Many of the annoying things in the previous, html iteration are now improved. You no longer have to wait through a 5 second sunrise every morning or grind AS hard thanks to the passive tree that builds over time, but there are still many things that leave me unfulfilled.

    The combination of real life media and text is almost satisfying, even if most of the models are dog-ugly. There are many scenes that make clever use of taunting comments and foreplay while switching pictures, but each encounter feels like it could be so much more. Not only does each foe have so few lines that you'll see repeats after 3 or 4 lines, but there's a HUGE missed opportunity here to escalate the narrative according to the player's lust percentage or the number of times the player's lost to the character, and other mechanics like that.

    Additionally, and this is kind of a nitpick, the game uses transgender models for some encounters, but these encounters are blatantly timid. Not only is there not a single trans-based game over, but the trans scenes just kind of fade to black as soon as the MC cums. Why even add these characters if you're not going to commit?

    Even with the passive tree, you'll still have to grind this game for an obscene number of hours just to see content beyond the first two zones. This wouldn't be so bad if not for the aforementioned lack of diversity and excitement in the encounters.

    Overall, the game's hugely improved from where it was as an html, and it almost feels satisfying to me, but it still feels half-cooked.

    really enjoy this game. Hits me right on many levels.. It can be very frustrating, but you have to remember this is a world where the hero is supposed to lose.. its right there in the title. Looking forward to more of this one and others like it!

    WHat I like: it's different, interesting and chalanging. Nice pictures and premise. Design is bad. It requires thousands of clicks, while each click just reveals another line of text. This must be fixed. ALso, offline version does not work, or atleast there is no proper description how to make it work. It also needs re-balancing of the stats. Because if you chose the wrong starting tats you're doomed. And you can only find that out after 3-4 re-plays, which is enough to get annoyed.

    well designed story and difficulties, many emnimies have distinct methodologies and interesting ends.

    Also the game still a little bit grinding but that is acceptable, strongly recommend this game to everyone and wish the author good luck

    Its an unrewarding chore of a game. That may as well just be clicker game. Its very addictive I'll give it that.

    I get the gameplay idea its a roguelike, but it doesn't suit porn and its a terrible roguelike

    the game gets harder the further you progress and every time you die you come back a little stronger so you can get a little bit further

    However there is no variation, you'll be fighting the same 4 or 5 women on every playthrough and seeing the exact same images time and time again.

    I gave it 4 lives and didn't see anything different on any playthroughs

    The fighting is lame you basically just spam the attack button. If you win the fight you then return to camp and spam the rest button to improve health and reduce lust. then go out and fight.. rinse repeat.

    The game actively punishes you for having sexy time with the ladies, you basically have to avoid it if you want any progression at all. great concept for a fap game.

    the games saves in your browsers cache so you can't get to the physical save to alter it or indeed save it. I was playing in incognito mode so theres no way for me to exit the browser and keep my save. As this game would require a ton of playthrough to actual get anywhere that a fail from me.

    The drawbacks are lack of saving. (I am too casual and don't like grinding)
    If the saving system was less demanding, player can experience more content without the need to grind every time.

    Another one would be the waiting time while resting and sleeping... It's not long but after repeating it several times it becomes annoying.

    The last one minus for me is the text highlighting after pressing buttons too fast.


    Everything else is awesome. More content, more enemies and maybe some new light fetishes would be nice. Hope to see new exciting content.

    I first got into this webtease a couple of months back and it's the best on Milovana. I'm happy to see it finally on F95. I've played the newest patreon release, 1.05.

    With a great mix of models and an enjoyable system of progressive strength building, this is the most exciting project on F95 for me right now. I can certainly say that there is something for everyone and it is being actively updated.

    As most of the milovana webteases are, this one is balanced toward femdom with little in the way of maledom, but the MC may become "powerful" enough to avoid the femdom that this game provides. What this game does it does very well.

    My suggestions for the future other than the obvious (more models, locations, scenes), most important/urgent 1st:
    -More useful items. I find that once you have a useful weapon a lot of the other items become more tedious and less worth the effort to craft. The eyepatch, for example just doesnt offer much in terms of the effort and gold to craft it. Maybe a way to help the fetish items would be that on top of the present affect you also get an ability where, if you defeat a girl with that specific fetish (big ass) while wearing/using the item that corresponds to big ass, you get extra gold/ extra chance of the best loot from her and others with the same fetish.

    -Other jobs: The tavern is fun but getting the same 2 or 3 models everytime for each fetish and maybe getting 4-6 still images of them each time gets old quick. Maybe the more you've done jobs in the tavern for a certain fetish in one playthrough (say, 5 big boob clients in one playthrough), the next time you do a big boob client job you get a boss special client that can bad end you if you're unrepared or if your addiction to that fetish is too high. If you impress her you get a larger amount of gold and a recipe to make a special item which shows your ability to please women with big breasts, leading to special dialogue with big breasted women in the game as well as the chance to meet "commoner" women in town who have big boobs and want to meet the hero who impressed the special client and these commoners can give you a short scene and praise your heroicism. Staying with the old medieval look, having a warrior guild of strong women in town would be cool too that you can train against to increase your attack temporarily or your attack against certain types of women depending who you're training with. Maybe there could be a female champion that you could slowly build to defeating in a story sequence also.

    -Bad ends annihilating your points. It makes sense to lose a lot of points for not completing a run on normal mode but when you spend a good amount of time exploring and you end up with nothing because of one mistake or rng it's a kick in the teeth to end up with 30 points compared to 1000. Maybe it could use some balancing depending on how much you accomplish before your bad end.

    -Followers/Companions. Different women could fight by your side adding damage to yours and other effects such as lessening the damage received by you. These could be women that you've done something for or that you've bested in combat or that only like you if you have high corruption and a high fetish which corresponds with them. Theres so many reasons but a large number of potential followers and the ability to only have 1 a run would be something which would add replay-ability and a lot of life to the game. Maybe these women could have dialogue at night around the campfire to make them feel more human.

    -Some women taking your clothes over and over. It's understandable that it might happen if you do overly badly in an encounter but for at least 2 of the enemies in the game,on your 3rd turn you're naked and you cant do anything about it even if you win. You just have to go make new ones. Quite annoying and again tedious. It would be nice if you could have a chance of getting your clothes back if you defeated the girl after being stripped.

    -Campfire Events. Sleeping naked and corrupted dreams are cool, but it would be nice if the campfire wasn't just the place to sleep. If, as you became more honourable and heroic women came to speak to you and potentially offer themselves to the hero, or took you without your real input it would be quite livening to the campfire. It could add flavour to the most seen area.

    -Groups. It's a wild forestry area and seeing more than one woman at once is relatively rare. Maybe adding a gang of bandits that are all aligned with each other in each area would be cool and it would allow for more group scenes and bandit "bosses".

    -Make the item and best time for women more obvious. It's tedious using the codex to check what time to look for a girl and what item she drops all the time. Maybe put the prime time and her special item if she has one in one corner of her scene so its more naturally remembered rather than having to constantly check.

    -Once you can reliably make it to the castle over and over it would be nice if it was a quicker process to do so as it's quite long currently even with being able to defeat everyone. Also, making the Mandy Muse threesome castle room a little easier to understand would be helpful. Damaging the one girl is ineffective and the other just leads to you losing so it took ages to realise that damaging them both at the same rate was best but it was frustrating as again, getting to the castle is quite a slough every time.

    Some personal preferences which I think a good amount of people might feel for fetishes I'd like to see:

    Ebony/Latina/White/Asian (obvz race is touchy but it could be a fun new fetish)
    Curvy/BBW- Think Felicity Clover or Milly Marks, nothing monstrous.
    Cum fetish- Might mostly be dialogue based but could also include moneyshots and swallowing or sharing between girls.
    Bondage- Like the bridgette B town scene
    -Fitness/Amazon fetish-Like the other bridgette B scene where she is a strong athletic woman
    and of course Milf/Teen.

    Anyway, regardless of if all this isn't even read, I love this game/tease and I can't wait to see where it leads. Thank you for all the work.
