Ren'Py - Hero Party Must Fall [v0.5.4 Bugfix 1] [Nitrolith]

im very torn about writing a review so early on, since the game is currently in an very very early state, but i have to rate it so more people get to support it, by seeing the amount of stars.

The Art has a style i like a lot that reminds me of a retro aesthetic.
All of the characters look pretty good and i even like the Art a lot of the MC, the gaze he has fits him very well for the situation he has been put in, and fits the dynamic a lot between, raised demon that has to act human vs the priestess that is too kind.
The foreplay scenes so far also look very good, and have a large amount of details put into them.
Most things are also animated in scenes and all sex so far is also animated.

The Story, Main character, and the dynamic between the priestess and the MC is what caught me the most tho, going between the demon that has been raised to destroy the hero's party and the priestess he has to corrupt, him not really knowing what warmth or kindess really feel like, while he is getting exposed to it by the priestess, being fully aware of what he is doing and sometimes even acknowledging, that what he is doing is wrong, while she finally found someone that she can talk to or rely on, since the hero is failing her in their relationship, for me thats the best kind of ntr, i would call it wholesome ntr but my definiton might be fucked up.
Otherwise the writing has been real strong with leaving possibilities open, instead of tunneling to only making the party fail, will we betray the demon king and maybe side with the priestess while bonding with her? Will we overthrow him with the demon queen that acts out of order and seems to be unpredictable in nature since the mc doesnt seem to have any close ties to them, besides being trained to be a spy, will we actually just fullfil our mission, these factors also all contribute to the things i like about this game.

I also love that every night serves as bonding, and him having a therapy like session with the priestess, and how the art portrays both of them, with just his calculating cold gaze being shown, while she unknowingly opens herself up to him, showing her vulnarbilities.

The corruption in this game is also stellar with the maincharacter actively manipulating her on a sexual and emotional level, where he is actively trying to understand and predict her, while also making her depend on him to deepen his trust, not just with his dong, but with his brain.

Im really excited to see the future of this game since i love the premise so far, and i really like the MC.

It has a very interesting story the art is great the girls are good. I can see this being a very popular game when it hits 1.0.

The only thing that I'm not sure of is the UI layout because it isn't fully functional yet.

Played the demo, was incredibly impressed by the intro and the scenes already implemented. Very high quality scenes, nice gameplay ideas and I must say I love the story setting. Can't wait for future content to be added to this game, there are really not that many Netori games out there so this could just be the best out there once it's finished.

I don't know what else to say that the others haven't but still I'll still say it; well-written story, really like the pillow events and the art-style is pretty appealing and sexy and in terms of potential it is high up there for netori games.

best game i played on this site, honestly. Story is so well written and the art feels natural. Characters are interesting and plot is giving as well. One problem is the "combat". I dont even get the point of it. It sucks but you dont really need it and there is much much other things that compensates for it. Definitely try it.

Real nice art, a good story and great build up. Very much looking forward to updates going further with the priestess, the childhood friend, some scenes with your partner and maybe even eventually taking the femboy himself.

Good demo, lots of high quality content for a 1st release.

I have a dream,that one day,netori has the same amount of contents with netorare! Keep working on this very interesting project with all of them promised even more promising ... features you've mentioned about!

A really good surprise. The game shows to be very promising. The bed dialogues a well written, it makes you fully submerge in your relationship and corruption with Cecile. For the little we could saw, you can immediately see each characters having a personality and they're really different one to another. And the Dev chose really well what kind of persons are involved. It makes the NTR situation really spicy. Also, huge big up for it being a Netori. Being a Chad for once gives you a fresh air.

The art looks also very promising. It reminds me of Shinseiden or NTR Legend. The animation could use some work though but it isn't really worth being a bother about it.

I regret having played the demo..I'm longing for me and the wait will kill me. I have huge expection for it ! I don't have the means to help its development but I cheer for you !

Also small advice from me to take or leave: Since you're using Ren'py which is not really suited for any type of gameplay (really rare are those who achieved it) and you're still clinging on VN, I advise you for now to focus more on the story and art (if possible) than the gameplay itself. Although boring for now it's good enough. The game's story is your strong point so keep at it. It's a really a pain to program something on a platform not optimized for and I worry you might take too much time on something that might not look good in the end.

A promising demo that I'll be following for sure. I love the premise of bringing down an adventuring party by corrupting its female party members, and the writing does it justice. I do have some misgivings about the sexual training system, such as:

• what is the rightmost bar (the red one) that fills up on "quick" actions? Am I supposed to fill it up or not? Why does it reset sometimes?
• what are these "specks" I'm getting from training?
• what difference does the trainee's mood make? What does each mood do?
• why does Cecille start out with varying amounts of stamina and varying moods? If it's scripted, well, I'd rather have a game with gameplay than just the illusion of one.

So yeah, I think this system should be better-explained. The combat system also doesn't seem to be particularly to my liking. I know it's basically nothing but a proof-of-concept right now, but I can tell I'd prefer a turn-based system, either that or make it pausable. Still, if this gets turned into a proper game with challenging and replayable combat and nonlinear training, combined with this writing and premise, this game will be epic.

This is one of the best netori games i've ever played and I'm honestly impressed with the dialogue. One of a few game where i dont skip ahead evey 5 seconds, good stuff 10/10. i hope the creator can keep this kind of quality consistent with future updates

Just the initial release of the game and Im already liking it. The creator even with the v1 of their project has created a game that seems to have an abundance of potential with its concept and honestly the story and MC have me hooked; since netori of this type is a breath of fresh air. Honestly, reminds me of what I wished NTR legend was. I would also like to add that those animations are just A1.

Great proof of concept and start with a decent amount of content, great art, and a good writing hook. It reminds me a lot of NTR legend but considering that's one of the best 2d art ntr games around that's as high praise as you can get.

I very rarely rate first releases. Because I very rarely think they have enough meat on them to rate them for. Surprisingly enough, this one did.

I am a bit cursed because one of my fav kinks is corruption and I also love me a good 2D art game. But it's a fact that very few devs know how to write proper corruption and when you combine it with the very high death rate of 2D projects, the chances of finding something aren't exactly high. So I was pleasantly surprised when I found out this, not only had good writing, but also had enough content to get a taste. When most early 2D releases are just empty frameworks that never get to be filled.

It's obvious this dev "gets" corruption. The majority of games with this tag have either a dude conquering all with his big dick, or some retarded blackmail plan that doesn't make sense. This one has actual emotional manipulation that makes sense. You get to see the subtle, gradual changes and how the "target" rationalizes, which is so rare in these games. It even expands it to show some change on MC himself. And it has the potential of further corruption (since he is already a devil) or even redemption with different paths.

Also pretty fun we get to play the chad dude from those NTR games instead of the cuck or the naive girl for once (another curse if you like corruption but dislike those protags). The writing is so meta, that we are practically having MC cuck the average harem game protag. Yes, that dude who is a complete pervert and yet no girl acknowledges it and all those games act like he's God's gift to women. Gotta love that!

My only worry is that, since this has gameplay mechanics beyond VN, the dev is tempted to mess around too much with that stuff instead of the story. And eventually lose all the traction from this game's strong suit. Although that's maybe me being burnt by too many 2D projects in the past.
