Ren'Py - Hero Party Must Fall [v0.5.8 Test 1] [Nitrolith]

Would derserve a 5 stars before the battle with Erin but after that I don't understand where everything is going and it seems as though every characters lost their personalities which is one of the major reason why this game used to be so good. Art is clearly AI toward the end and I don't know why dev and the fans refuse to acknowledge it as AI (hell, there's no AI tag for this game yet).
It is on the level of betrayal equal to Berserk 2016 to see something so great get reduced to this.

Certainly one of the best games in the genre. The visuals might not look good a priori, but you are easily dazzled by how eccentric it is.

The characters have great visuals and identities, which are varied among themselves not only in appearance but also in personality, and how could I not mention that? Each character is unique and eccentric, with their positive sides and their flaws. Sweet, but selfish characters; tough, but fragile; sassy, yet repressed. I have never seen anything like it. The writing for each character; their dialogues, all are extremely well-told and organic, paced, and respectful of the natural flow of development—something I honestly NEVER expected to see from something in this genre. Seriously, it impressed me.

Oh, and not to mention the fan service. Every fetish, every design seems to be serving you so you can find your favorite. From the muscular brunette without a single hair on her perfectly sculpted body, to the chubby (cute) blonde with her body hair, demonstrating her stunning 100% natural beauty, as well as, of course, several others, including even the Mommies.

What I described doesn't even come close to how much I loved this game. Of course, it is still in development and still needs polishing in several mechanics, but I will wait calmly, as the writing and the characters have already served me very well, surpassing the simple expectations.

100/5 is what I wanted to give, but I'm limited to a simple 5/5.

PROS
+ It's kind of unique, and at certain parts of story are interesting.

CONS
- Story is... Kind of weird I would say? And some details feel way to cruel like how Goddess treats Hero's, literally ruins their whole sexuality, etc.
- Characters are not really likeable.
- There are a lot of unavoidable stuff happening as a player/MC you have no choice over it.
- Some of body shapes looks bit way to realistic make them bit unattractive for no reason, like tits.
- Visual quality is poor, it goes for pictures (they are not detailed enough to look good), animations (not enough frame per second, and combined with poor images it becomes even worse, some rare animations are better tho), even HUD/screen, like most scenes don't even have full HUD/screen, they have weird/black panels on the sides.
- It lacks pictures, pictures to show what's happening, and instead the game uses wall of texts to explain what's happening so you constantly see tons of texts with same picture on screen, which is seriously boring after some time.
- Later parts has bit different art style, so if you like the art shown at early parts you might dislike later parts.
- The whole city management, and latest parts of game is quite bad.

VERDICT
The game is, bit to specific, wild, harsh, and rough on the edges, and kind of poor.

As others also said ,I would have given it 5 stars but unfortunately the Act 3 , ruins the otherwise 10/10 game. The story was linear and going in a very good pace till end of act 2 where everything changed. It became a town manager with rushed scenes which are not cohesive of each other. Also the routes i chose has shown very minimal importance to the plot.

Instead of ending with epilogues and more fleshed out end of routes , the game introduces lots of new charecters which stretches this out alot more/

The corruption and netori elements of the game are top tier, if not the best till the end of act 2. The game is still getting updates so take my Act 3 criticism with a grain of salt since it is in its early phases

.Hopefully the game becomes as good as it was before act 3 with new updates but do not get it twisted , this game is still one of the best netori /corruption/ ntr game out there. If there is anyone who didn't try it yet but is a fan of the genres mentioned Iwould strongly reccomend to try playing it.

This game was 10 / 10, BUT I don't understand why it went in this direction I don't like it at all. Some mediocre city management with a whole bunch of new characters and unnecessary mini-games with AI slop art.
I was curious where the dev spends so much time that he is still on version 0.5.
And when did I see this? I'm just confused as to why.
You just needed to write endings for the characters, an epilogue, and start refining the gameplay in the dungeon or remove it altogether. The game is already mind-blowing.
But ACT 3 with city managment? It's just a mess. You need to know when to stop, otherwise you can write forever and ruin the project. This was supposed to be the epilogue of your route choices, but it's some kind of new endless filler beginning.
Why add all these ideas into one game? Why add so many characters with their filler storylines? This way, the game will never end and it will only get worse. Disappointed.

After having read/play a good chunk into the game(though, not all there is as of latest update) I can say that I really like it, like always on this site, but especially with this kind of games however, is very important to pay attention to the tags and genres, those have a reason to be there.

Back to the VN though, overall has quality and a lot of content, one of the best traits for me is definitely the art, while not the most 'clean', has personality and is actually proper so to speak, the style is also nice, haven't seen it on a lot of recent NSFW games, beyond that though, the game itself is entertaining, in particular I liked the characters, Cecille in particular, the fact that she's wasn't just a 'Flawless Main Heroine', but actually had some sly side to her, even on the early stages, as she herself, not 'warped' by a external factor, that bit of flavor to her was definitely a nice addition, that's present, albeit in different ways to other characters, make it easy to get more invested on their scenes, be it just dialogue or sex. Other thing are the few mini-games around the game, while they can get a little tiresome at times, they don't fault at being disconnected from the main story, so it's just an addition, more often nice than not.

Some less favorable points however, could be how the game can suffer from some bugs not much of a big deal, other more subjective for me is Erin, previously I praised how most Characters are nice to interact for the little extra flavor they get, with that I don't mean just in a favorable light, some being more unsavory is also a thumb up for me, but Erin, I feel like he's too simple in comparison to the others(might change in some of the stuff I haven't reached, but I dobut it, since he's more of a side quest), like just there to be the fool, feel like it could have been more to it but uh. The story is also needless to say, very centered, since is a clear goal, so not a ton of freedom, which I don't think is necessarily a flaw, since from the title you get the idea of what's all about, still, something to have in mind, most things are 'small scale'

Other thing that I appreciate, is that Mars is not a nameable MC, no shade for games in which the MC doesn't have one though, I enjoy some of that, but here I think it was the proper call make the MC a more defined character, his different options being mostly logical for someone like him to have, he's obviously a malicious man, not a good person at all, pretty much a Villain Lead, still, not a Super Monstrous one, his bond with Vi, plus the fact that his Goal is a Greater One like change the game for his species, not saying that Demons in the game are good or something, they are wicked, but having their role as species write in stone by a Greater Power such as the Goddess of that world, like a sort of Cosmic Irony definitely sucks hard and working to change that definitely add to them, a noble cause?, not really, but at least a proper motive is good to have in opposition to just 'Mess over the Hero party and cuck him'. To finish, while Mars's a bit plain-looking, I really like that his design leans more to an attractive man rather than an ugly Doe, which seems to be the main two options in Male-lead NTR stuff, that's personal preference though.

Bad thing about the game is that the gallery isn't up to date (but there's a mod fix for that) and the dev will probably update it once the game is finished and they polish it + sometimes you can jumpscared by some femboy shit even if you have opted out of it.

Before you choose one of the routes this games is amazing and the story is great. However once the city part starts, the game feels so rushed and doesn't even feel like it's made by the same person. The story feels like it has massively dropped in quality and just put random scenes together. Also during the city parts, you can't load the game during a scene at all or backtrack through the text. The city ruling mechanics suck entirely and should just be removed and scenes feel randomly mashed together. This is very dissapointing because I was a big fan of this game beforehand and it feels like it's going in a completely wrong direction. The developer should focus on making the city ruling part of the game actually playable. Overall, it's very sad to see the game randomly and massively drop in quality. I hope the game improves in the future because this is just sad to see

Honestly Pre ACT 2 ending I would have given the game 5 starts however act 3 has just completely thrown the game out of favor for me.

First off, AI art. You know I don't mind the use of AI however going from an well done and interesting(For the most part the actual trainer minigame is ugly and kind of lame lol) hand drawn art style to mediocre ai renders just isn't tolerable when i was already attached to the looks the cast where rocking(even if Mars skin tone changes based on the girl to make all the act 1 scenes interracial esk for some reason in the early chapters XD its extra weird because we have one scene with all three characters and he looks normal)

2nd, Scope creep the dev has for the most part completely thrown out the core dynamic of the game. The dynamic of juggling the various party members of the core trio and the other important girls mars roped in was a lot of fun to experience. The writing was really good for the most part and really interesting. Now the new chapter kind of throws that out the window for some reason. Now I'm trying to hold judgment because I know the game is not finished but the way the story is shaping up there isn't going to be as much screen time for the main cast that Ive come to enjoy. I also am not enjoying this wrote demon hunter kunoichi bs that im currently slogging threw while the characters i actually care about have completely changed for act 2 counter points which is fine but the changes feel so sudden compared to the pace of the game at this point which has been quite cautious slowly ramping up.

These two factors together really take what was shaping up to be a good story and makes me fear for its direction. Honestly pre act 2 ending the game was near on 5 stars for me. Honestly if the dev is dead set on the AI art and the city leader story that they are currently going for they may be better of fleshing out act 2s ending arc and the time between the time skip into a finished package and turn the current arc into Part 2 so to speak.
PS lose the minigames dev. I don't like a single one so far im sorry ;-;

Game is too fucking excellent, covers so many good fetishes, animations are satisfying, corruption pacing is awesome. I do wish you could sissify the cuck much further but hopefully that will come up in future updates.

I needed at least 3 attempts to start this game. Opened it, looked on pixel graphic with chubby main LI and closed. Damn, I really don't like this kind of graphic and prefer fit LIs. But then... with lack of other good games I decided to give a shot to the plot, because many people recommend it and ... fk the graphics! It got much better during scenes and wasn't that unpleasant like on main screen. The only thing I regret was not giving it a chance earlier.

Story is ok. Being a bad guy who's going to change worlds destiny is quite unique and it's well written with few small plot twists. Not many decisions during game, but at least player is able to decide who he wants in harem or if he wants to focus on only one character. The only thing I'm missing is harem ending for arc2. There aren't many problems in game, chronology for events is well coded and only one thing I noticed is Lydia events that can be met in other characters events, before her introduction.

Thing that make this game really unique is bond with characters. There are few fast side fucks, but connection between MC and several most important LIs is huge. Deep psychological talks, knowing each other step by step, mind games, corruption, falling in love, building tension and getting them on MC side. That's pure art and it covers every small shortcoming, even if there aren't many. What's more? Ah, you're winning them in netori style. That's what convinced me to start this game. The only thing I didn't like was sissification of Erin by bullying. I went through it by reading every tenth line and skipping everything else just to have this part of the story completed - just in case.

But there are few things I'd change. First of all is minigames. They're quite easy now and skippable, but according to dev notes, they may be mandatory and maybe even tougher when game will be fully released. If you read this dev. I'm not buying final product, if it has mandatory minigames There also should be walkthrough. It's hard to miss something in this game, but it'd save some time for checking, if a new event was unlocked with some LI. World is very small here and game is working fast, so it's rather seconds than minutes to find everything, but it's still quite annoying and may be more in act 3 with slightly bigger map.

To sum this up. It's probably the most deep porn game you can find. There's some quick fk, but it's mostly focused on deep relationships and its change. Recommending to everyone to at least start it, if you like tags and especially, if you like netori.

not gonna lie the game is kinda ass , art is good most of the time but its get bad sometimes , gameplay is so bad if there was no cheat probably it take double or even x3 time to finished ( i played around 1:40 hrs ) im not even sure that i finished all content idont like grinding game it just annoying

Strong Title but Disappointing.

I really liked this game and its trainer elements until a particular part in the story that made it completely fall apart. The introduction of AI art is pretty much unforgivable to me, especially becuase up until then, the art was really well made. I can't really go in depth without spoilers but when marrying a particular character the game really just goes off the deep end introducing a whole new set of charcters in the midst of you still doing things with the characters you've spent the last 10h with.

Netori games are hard to come by in such a good fashion but when I spend 12h on a game that chooses to completely forgo player choice and turn it into a narrative mess and AI slop, im out. I

The first 10 hours or so are some of the best I've played but unfortunately the last 2, made me completely drop the game. At the very least someone tag this game correctly with the "ai cg" tag.

This is legitimately one of my favorite stories and games I have ever played. Not just H game, but in general. The art is great and only improves as you go, and the writing feels real in its own twisted way. The amount of choice rivals most mainstream games. Also, this dude is like "oh please excuse my unfinished game and the new bits I promise they'll have more content." Meanwhile his "half ass" work is better and more in depth than most finished games. Truly a gem and worthy of my first review.

This game tricked you into getting invested in - with well crafted human drawn sprites and then after two years of development and still being a v0.5 the dev decides to filter his work through an ugly AI slop filter and now that you're invested you can't switch back. The charm of the art itself was captivating at first and very unique and now that he has the patrons by the balls he's switching all the hand drawn scenes with AI slop because it's not "pretty enough". Extremely disappointed. This game has received 0 updates for 5 to 6 months, the dev goes on constant sidetracks like implementing usless mechanics in dungeon crawling and minigames, decides to "redo" old art instead of working to further the plot and then gives his patrons 5-6 AI slop images that have been "rejected" to keep people from dropping support.

This is the best game on this site. The quality of the art isn't always consistent, but overall I love the style. Beyond that, the story and amount of content trumps all.

It's easily in the running for being one of the best titles on the entire site. It excels in almost every level.

Art: Phenomenal. Handcrafted pixel art perfection gorgeously depicts all manner of sinuous baddies. No exaggeration, the game has some of the hottest scenes I've seen, period.

Story: It's reaching that "too good for porn" level that "Superhuman" rests on. The only thing that makes it not quite there, in my opinion... is how much god-damn porn there is! But it's the highest of compliments because the copious amounts of smashing happening in this game is so well integrated into its story that it's downright impressive. No joke, no title on this site I've played yet has so seamlessly blended narrative and porn.

Porn: Which brings us to what we're all here for. Lads, everyone's tastes are subjective. So I can only share my own perspective. This game has the best porn of any game I've played since the original Corruption of Champions. But unlike CoC where you wander around smashing a world of horny NPCs, this game focuses it all on a small cast. This makes it so much better because it gives the sex actual stakes. You get to know the characters involved, deeply, such that when something divinely debaucherous happens on screen it hits so much harder. The goon seshes hit differently when you're invested in the characters and boy does the author know how to get you invested.

Gameplay: This brings us to the final and unfortunately weakest pillar of the game. This game's gameplay suffers from the "Shoulda just made a visual novel" syndrome. I read a post from the author where he said he really likes open-world games and this was him trying his hand at it. Now don't get me wrong, what's here isn't BAD. I actually rather like it, but the execution makes it stand out. Often times you'll just be wandering around interacting with characters waiting for the next major event to trigger. Once they do, you're golden. Strap in for 10-20 minutes of well-written smut, but the build-up there can feel a little unwieldy. I do like the idea, because building anticipation if very much a good thing, but I wish it were just more structured. Another major thing to note on the gameplay side is the core sexual mechanic. It's... alright. Hot, don't get me wrong, but once you've done it a couple of times get's somewhat repetitive. Not a big deal though, because you can more or less skip it if you're tired of it. Still, even after seeing it 10-20 times, it serves as an effective primer. There are a few other mechanics but they're not fleshed out enough to be worth mentioning.

Overall: 11/10. Would gladly support monetarily if I wasn't a brokie.

One of the best 2d game ever. Great characters. feels realistic. plot and story progression good be better, but who cares. Art is great not every time, some arent great with perspective and anatomy but overall very expressive and most important HOT artstyle. GG is gigachad and evil being, actual mudak.

Maybe it's not my type of a game but trying to insert an entire book in prologue in hardcore porn game imho is not very smart idea.

The plot was not so bad with corruption of heroes but it's so long and boring and after that dev give you free roam with many new characters so you don't understand who they are and what to do. After passing many days and earning corruption (or what's the thing with scale on the bottom) of two possible girls you watch same scenes with them. Other characters in the town are blocked or tell you the same things. There is no any hints and you don't want to figure it out cause it's boring.
It has non intuitive ui, awful tutorial and uninteresting graphomania. Timer in main menu? What for?

Art and sound are the only positive sides of the game. Also you can unlock gallery without any special progs/scripts/actions. So you can watch all scenes and forget about this game and this is another star for this option.
