Good, but not excellent by any means. Heroine Conquest follows a pretty interesting gameplay loop that's fun to go through but gets boring pretty quick, and the reward you get is less than desirable.
-Art: outside of H-scenes, the art is fine in the menus and whatnot. But during gameplay, there's a lot less animation than I expect. They're just icons floating around and beating each other to pulp, representing the battles instead of "showing" them. It could've been cooler if they're animated battles instead.
-Sounds: not a lot to talk about. The music is the same across all fights, and it's kinda lame. The SFX gets repetitive very quickly. Not that strong in this part of the game.
-Story: it's your generic "Demon lord fallen because of heroine and now you gotta beat them", and also "Demon lord is actually a woman and now you can betray your lord to fuck her". Story is non-existent, basically.
-Gameplay: the game isn't supported well by other aspects, but the gameplay sure is something.
The game gives you 6 girls to fight, each with a different way to fight. You have to strategize ways to counter them using your units to deal with them.
Now this is a pretty cool way to execute gameplay, the game is very strategic in terms of the "grind". You get points from dying, but more from hitting the girls, so min-max the amount of points you get each fights is very important.
Each fight has its own way to deal with the girls' attacks, and they... vary in terms of enjoyment. There's always one way to hard counter the heroine's attacks, and you just need to figure it out. Once you know the way, it's smooth sailing from then on.
The problem is that this gameplay choice is very good for people who just started the game but it gets less interesting really fast. Once you beat the game, replayability does not exist. The fun was figuring out how to beat the girls, but once that's out of the way, you just have a "click at this part of the screen" simulator.
Although each of the fights is extremely refreshing and unique from each other, it doesn't change the fact that the game's base is simply too weak to keep the players engage with playing the game after it is completed. The stars are very tempting, but once you get all of them, you probably have no more motivations to press Reset and go all over the process again.
-H-scenes: BadColor did a great job on the pixel art. Only problem though... it's very little in this game. Like I said, 6 girls, that means there's only 6 scenes to enjoy. And they're quite short, with no customization like clothes or anything.
-Conclusion: very simple game, simple premise but also simple rewards. The game has little to play and little to talk about. For its simplicity, it's quite well done, but alas it's also the game's biggest flaws for me. Also, this game is 4$ what the fu-
