Heroine Conquest [v1.12]
Wow, what a fun and not-at-all-frustrating minigame. Before we begin, I cannot recommend modifying your save file enough. I completed this game and got all of the stars, and it was terrible; please go through the comments and grab a modified save; Menelik has a great one. If your computer can't save SAV files, get the game's SAV file put it into the link Menelik provided, and paste the values that come up when you click Menelik's SAV file.
With that out of the way, the animations are really good; they're just blocked off by a minigame that is somewhat fun and frustrating. He probably should have scaled the difficulty so the Heroines either had less health, or the upgrades were less expensive. It's somewhat fine if you aren't going for stars, but I always felt like it was impossible for the first couple of rounds to do anything except get beat. The ideas were fun and creative, but you also get no help the entire time, and it's a lot of effort to put in to get a single scene. It's fine but flawed. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because you can cheat it, although there are some people who love this type of game.
With all that in mind, if for some reason you want to beat it legit to prove your superiority over a small group of internet perverts, I shall give you my strategies, although I can almost promise that they are not optimal.
For every fight in the game, only upgrade your capture units once you consistently get the Heroine to below half health every attempt.
Sword Knight
For the first couple of rounds, focus on the unit amount because more dead units mean more money. Then, start bulking up the shield gobbos. Once they can reliably tank a couple of hits, start trying to encircle her and send out attack goblins to the side that she isn't attacking. Focus on increasing the number of hits instead of damage per hit, and eventually, you'll be able to take her out. Then upgrade the capture units and capture.
Mage Chick
This one might be the easiest once you figure it out. The first time I tried it, I used the melee boys as a distraction while the snipers did the damage. Midway through, I realized that the melee boys could do it themselves if I encircled her in the middle. So focus on movement speed and health for the melee boys, ignore the snipers, try to get her caught in the center of the screen, and don't let her escape to a corner. She will be overwhelmed, even by weaker units.
Punchy Zoomy Girl
This one took an embarrassingly long time to figure out. We have the AOE pink puffs and the grass kids that hold her down for a limited time. Focus on the grass kids until they can grab her, then work on upgrading the length of time the grass kids hold her and the damage and range of the puff balls. Outside of that, if you spam correctly, you can stunlock her to death fairly quickly.
Slime Time
I actually really liked this stage. Put the damage slimes in one corner and use the push slimes to push her to the corner and keep her there. It's figuring out what you're doing that's the tricky bit, but once you know what to do it isn't too bad.
You Dropped Your Crown King
This one is simple, straightforward, and almost feels playtested. Use the shields to block the projectiles and protect your own. You'll do okay.
Secret AOE Agony
So this one, you can get your first try; it just takes a while. Only bother upgrading the horn guys, and never spam too many of them in the same direction. Once she's taking damage (It'll be a hot minute), upgrade and send out capture units. Be careful of the AOE attacks.
