Ren'Py - Abandoned - Heroines Perilous World - The Imposter [v0.2] [Philohunter]

Review for version 0.1:

Story 2/5 -> Not the most interesting story out there but it still works up to a point. You are a super villain trying to take over the city and after that, the world. For me it is an interesting universe to explore if done well. This is first release so I'll give it the benefit of doubt. It is short though so it has that against it

Dialog choices 0/5 -> This is a typical "Wrong choise = Game over" kind of game. Why do you have choices if they lead to game overs? It just annoys the players. I do not count the different positions after wich you have mind controlled the girl since that is just what you want to do with her under your command.

Sexual Content+spelling 4/5 -> You can have a titjob or a blow job even though it could be executed better. Still nice to have something. Spelling is decent, so for v. 0.1 that is considered quite good in my books.

Domination/bdsm 2/5 -> You can already dominate one girl but the transition is not that fantastic. It is through the means of Mind Control so it kind of takes away from the domination experience. Still nice though that the game is heading this way but I will have to wait and see what the dev does with it before changing my opinion about this.

Pregnancy 0/5 -> No pregnancy option (yet). Nothing more to say about that.

Overall this means that this game (so far at least) gets 8 points out of 25, resulting in 32% or 2 stars.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.1...

I like the fact that it's a superhero/supervillain setting, but that is about all it has going for it at the moment...

The visuals of the characters are a mixed bag... The protagonist is a see through single color model, which looks dumb... Unsure if it is a placeholder or if that is actually how we get to see the protagonist every time... The only other character has WAY over the top proportions... Breasts that are like 2 to 3 times in size to what they should be for her body frame, and her butt is also bigger then it should be... She looks like a mutant, since the rest of her body is normal to skinny in size... There are only a few backdrops, and they look alright...

The script is decent as I only ran into a tiny amount of spelling/grammar errors, but there also isn't much text anyways... The plot (what little there really is) revolves around a male protagonist who is a supervillain acting like he's a superhero... He has several abilities but his main power is mind control... Of course his primary goal is sexual control over as many caped women as he can find... The current content just has the one woman so far...

The introduction is very short, and so is the rest of this game... Even the sexual encounters are very short lived... The story is extremely basic...

Overall, this game appears to be going the b-rated porn fest route, with story that has very little meaning and no real depth... The protagonist is basically a ghost figure, which just adds to the visuals being not the greatest... This game is very early into it's development, but I'm not all that impressed for the moment... Will I revisit it? I doubt it, but we'll have to see what the future holds... See if it drastically improves or not...
