His Patreon is making almost 4K a month.
Imagine just sitting on this for nearly 2 years of no updates.
That's nearly 90-100 THOUSAND dollars. He could probably milk it for more.
Statistically there are people that have DIED waiting for updates on this and I wonder how many of his patrons have passed and the automatic system just keeps funneling money.

You know the reason people are so mean to you on here is because we actually like the product that you made, right?

The problem isn't that youre a bad writer, or coder, or animator. Its that you're lazy, and have failed to make tangible progress in literal years, all while claiming you're doing... Something. Whatever it is, it doesn't look like HHG. The perception is entirely built by your actions, and wont change unless you release a completed game at this point.

That may or may not be a fair expectation, but it's been four years since 1.2, and two years since 1.2.3b. Thats a pretty big jump from what used to be roughly four months between updates. Remember when you used to post sneak peaks and previews to your patreon, showing actual progress?

Oh, don't worry. I know! And, as I stated multiple times in this page, YOU are totally right to be concerned about the game's development times, it has been a while, there are no excuses except me being slow as hell, taking bad decisions and being kinda of a perfectionist.

Like you said, my words weight nothing if the game is not out there, I'm on your side here.

The problem is that every time I try to interact here, I try to "show progress", I try to explain my workflow and have a conversation with the community, it is filled with... Heroes with capes. People shouting very angry, not trying to interact with us but just say this is a scam, etc.

And, again, it is TOTALLY FINE to believe that. I'm NOT ARGUING against that. There are no excuses.

But I've posted and interacted A LOT here, shown a lot of images, explained how I see things, and some people just label them as "random images" or "excuses".

So yeah, I don't like here just because that.

I promised that the latest Patreon post will be the last BEFORE the update, and I'm maintaining that. Won't do more sneak peek posts on Patreon because I don't want people to suscribe believing there is an update.

Oh Im not trolling. I fully expected to be totally ignored. While my fears aren't assuaged, the reason I come back to this this thread is because I remain hopeful that this project will be continued and one day concluded. There's a couple of projects like this one I want to see continued, but currently show no signs of life.

Being vitrolic to the devs helps no one, but keeping them honest by pointing out where they've fallen short helps everyone.

Best of luck to Komi, but Ill remain a skeptic until Im actually playing the next part of the story.

I hope you actually make the game cause I think the people dropping cash on you for THIS long deserve it. Once you finish it in like 10 more years I'll maybe be there o7

I have played the game and got to the end of the prologue yesterday, just started the chrismas part and paused.

I enjoyed the story in the game. Game and mechanic is very solid ( I have notice professional touch). I really enjoyed every scene with Jimme. (Short and smart dialogue - make me smile, every time) I like all the characters.

I wanted to thanks developer for creating this project (master piece). There was even shrinking potion at the end. For moment i had high expectation for giantess content.

Does anyone know why the author writes his standard nonsense here, how he understands everything and that the development is really delayed, but he won't take any measures to fix it?
Dude, your game, for which you've been developing an update for two years, has already been tagged abandoned. Which means that the game is dead, and its author is either dead or milking idiots with money who pay for promises. Why write something here, making yourself look like a clown even more than you already are?
Let's say that in another year this miserable prologue-sized update will be released. And then what? Another feeding of idiots with your promises and remorse as you understand and realise everything for 2-4 years? You do realise that people do not live for thousands of years, so that your game will see the final at this rate of work?
Although what am I even asking, for this under-author his game is an oil well, which does not care, the main thing is that gullible morons carried money for air and promises with screenshots of "work".
