I woudl guess "AI" ? Though at least in that image the hands seem good enough, and in general, the image seems good.

I'm sure AI, but a cute pic. In my experience the biggest hurdle with using "realistic" AI images in a game is making the pics repeatable and consistent. Like if you tried to repose those girls, would they be the "same" girls, or a different pair of cute blondes? Depending what the game is about though, it might not be a problem.
