Well-cum. I usually trawl the "Latest Updates" page and try to keep up with whatever's actively popping up there. The search feature isn't so hard. Just remember, for the included tags, the "Or" option will include anything with even one of your preferred tags. The "and" option will only show those games that have all of your included tags, and that can severely limit your selection but it's the default and good for finding something very specific.

Always check for other games from the same artists you like. You can find older works buried deep in the website (which you can do with the forum search function also, but yeah, it's a bit clunky) that you'll have a high chance of enjoying that way. And don't knock the old Flash games. You can use a standalone flashplayer (usually provided or linked to) or the Ruffle player (which doesn't work with all Flash games but is good when it does).

Most of the games on this site will be RenPy (a VN, visual novel 2D engine), RPGM (RPG Maker, like those old-school Final Fantasy 3,4,5 etc.), 3D engine games (Unity, Unreal, Godot, etc), HTML or Text games (played in your browser via hyperlinks or like one of the old choose-your-own-adventure games), or the aforementioned Flash for older collections. Few of these games have advanced to any considerable degree, and almost none are finished, and plenty are just terrible.

Patience, young Fapawan, and you'll find the diamonds in the rough.
